My 12 year old son loves the Eragon books, but this purchase was a waste of money. He kind of glanced through it and said it was "stupid".

Not what I expected.

The writer seems to have run out of steam with his earlier books. Still, you'll want to complete the story. I recommend the whole series as good fun reading.

Thought I was ordering the IV book. Very disappointed when I gave it to my wife for her birthday and found out it was not the correct book or even the correct author. Felt like an idiot and very mislead by the search on amazons web site I did for the fourth book in the series. Oh well lesson learned. I guess I should of payed more attention to what I was ordering. Just through the book away.

My husband likes the Paolini series too much to like any other interpretation of these stories. Just waiting for the next one to come out!

I accidentally bought this book because I thought it was by the original author. It plain sucks! This guy is taking advantageof a popular series.

Dieses Buch langweilt teilweise durch langwierige Nacherzählungen der Gesichte von Eragon 3.Natürlich weiß, der Autor dieses Buches wie bis jetzt noch niemand von dem endgültigen Ausgang der Geschichte. Bei seinen Ausführungen verliert er sich allerdings nur all zu oft in offensichtlichen Details und Fakten. Dadurch wird das Buch jedoch schnell zu einer sehr eintönigen Leseerfahrung.Ich persönlich hätte mir von dem Buch erwartet, dass es unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten des Finales von Eragon 4 im Rahmen von kleinen erzählten Geschichten wiedergibt, stattdessen verlässt sich der Autor jedoch nur auf die Fakten und erwähnt relativ oft (zu oft), dass alles noch ungewiss ist und niemand wirklich sagen könnte wie das Buch endet. Dies ist ein weiterer Punkt, der sich negativ auf das Leseerlebnis auswirkt.Fazit:Für Eragon Fans nicht empfehlenswert, da nur zu oft Nacherzählungen aus der Geschichte vorkommen und die meisten vorhandenen Spekulationen nur das offensichtliche ergründen. Das Buch ist gut für Leute, die Eragon zwar gelesen, das meiste allerdings auch schon wieder vergessen haben und daher eine Art kurze Wiederholung der vorigen Bücher benötigen. Trotzdem kein Buch für die wahren Fans.

They were disappointed because that book often gave informations about the past 3 books.We're now waiting for the eragon IV..
