I bought it for a baby shower. I liked the it was thick pages.

I wish I had noticed that this book is an abridged version.
If I had noticed this version of Curious George is abridged for younger readers, I wouldn't have purchased it. It is chopped up and much is left out. Much of the charm of the story is missing. I will buy the original version when my grandson is older.
