Nice fabric, but variable QC + optimistic fit description
So, Prana bills the Brion as a "slim" fit: its idea of slim is equivalent to most other manufacturers' "standard" or "full" cut, though. If you are ok with that, you might like the Brion. The fabric is comfy, stretchy and attractive. One weak point is the front button: QC is sometimes a little lax and sloppy buttonhole stitching can lead to a closure that is less than secure. (A snap closure would be superior here.)The shorts come rolled up in a tight log shape, tied with a bow: a nice touch. There's a lot of variability in pricing. I picked up my Brion shorts here for about 6 bucks, so I'm more than happy with them at that price. At full price -- a whopping $69 -- my recommendation would be less generous.Prana, please work on your styling/fit: if you advertise a Slim fit, make it a slim, tailored cut. The Brion is not a slim fit -- either in the shorts or long pants variant.

Comfortable pants
I'll preface this saying that I am a real person who has worn these shorts, albeit not on holiday (which is a bummer). But these shorts have an extensive stretch that has made wearing them seem effortless. They have a plastic-ish feel to them, which I suspect helps with any water issues, but I didn't get them wet (yet). They're very comfortable to wear for leisure or for work, and I could squat without any resistance in the legs.I suppose a follow-up review may be needed to see if they hold up well in travel, but they get my full marks.

Super comfy
Can’t beat the stretch for comfort. Consider buying one size smaller in the waist, especially if you’re in between sizes or to get a trimmer fit in the legs. (Leg size is commensurate with waist size in pants and shorts....). The waist of the shorts seems to stretch just a little. E.g. I often wear 38 waist in pants but have been perfectly comfortable buying 36 in stretch Prana pants and shorts. My one pair of 38’s are a little too loose in the waist and are fuller cut in the legs and crotch. I own several pair. They are super comfy, and I suspect they will last a long time (as I consider the price....)

Prana, please make it right!
I am giving a one star review because the stitching on my brand new pranas started to come undone within one month of moderate use. My other pairs lasted 3+ years before any stitching started to come undone. I will update my review if prana can make this right! Love these shorts but maybe I got a dud? It’s like they completely missed a stitch.

Great purchase!
These are great pants. The first pair I purchased were a bit too snug (I expected them to give a bit after putting a few miles on them, but they never did.) I purchased a second pair one size up, they fit great. So great, ion fact, that I purchased a third pair.

Comfortable, Durable Outdoor Shorts
These are the best shorts for outdoor activities—from cycling to hiking to golf. The fabric is substantial enough that they don’t feel wispy, but dries quickly and has a ton of stretch. I have a few pairs now and I hope Prana never stops making them.

best shorts
I bought these shorts for my husband as a gift. He began wearing Prana jeans and pants 3 years ago and loves the fit. Last summer he bought his first pair of Prana shorts and loves them as much as the pants. My sons also wear Prana pants and jeans exclusively.

My favorite shorts and pants
Great shorts for rock climbing, they move with you and not against you. The pants are great for hiking. Super comfortable.
