Not for fountain pens
Notebook is very attractive and the cover has a pleasant feel. However I am infuriated that companies think that high GSM means good for fountain pens automatically. The feathering on the paper with even a medium nib fountain pen is ridiculous. While I have not noticed any bleeding yet there is horrible ghosting as well. Really seems like they saw 100 GSM and thought it would behave well without testing, very disappointed.Update. So the company e-mailed me asking what pens I used so they can better test their products. There was feathering with every pen I used which included the TWSBI Eco (f), Lamy Safari (f), Jinhao Spiral (m), Jinhao 51A (f), Delike Brass (M), Pilot Varsity (m), Hong Dian (f), Pilot Metropolitan(f), and a glass dip pen for good measure. Feathering was most evident on the Lamy Safari, Jinhao Spiral and Hong Dian which is to be expected as all these pens write wet. Ghosting was clearly evident on every pen as well. And I actually observed bleeding on the Jinhao Spiral and Jinhao 51A. Besides the Pilot Varsity all pens were test with Platinum Carbon Ink Black. I tried a Waterman Intense Black and Parker Quink Black with similar results. My final gripe with this paper is that is simply scratchy and not a pleasant experience to write on. I also tested the paper with a Pilot G-2 1.0 Gel which is pretty much gold standard for many journal users. The G-2 actually did not have any bleeding or feathering and acceptable amount of ghosting. In conclusion this is not some exotic ink or pen combination that is causing the problems it is simply that this paper is not made for fountain pens. The company did offer a refund which is surprising but all I want is honesty. This paper is made for gel and ball point pens not fountain pens. I would normally say that you get what you pay for but that is incorrect. As you can get a Rhodia A5 webnotebook for just a few more dollars or even Moleskin which actually preforms better for the same price.

It's just okay
I like that the pages are numbered and that there are some perforated pages in the back. But the more I use the notebook the more I just keep wishing that I had a different notebook. I'm using the notebook for work notes. The green color of the cover looks true to the photos online. I do not like the material of the cover -- I thought it would have a bit more texture since it is fabric, but it feels l a little like plastic and for some reason it makes me feel like I want to wash my hands after holding it. The pages are stitched to about 3/4" from the bottom of the page and I realized this is a problem for me because I use my left hand to turn the page and I tend to turn the page more towards the inside of the notebook from the bottom edge rather than the right, outside edge. The pages often pull up from the bottom edge as I turn the page and gets caught on the other folded sheets of paper. Not all of the page lay fat equally and sometimes I need to press down the crease of a page really hard to get it to stay flat. If I had just spent a few more dollars I could have purchase a notebook I would be happier with.

Better than Moleskine notebooks AND woman owned!
I am so pleased with my purchase. I was going to get the standard moleskine notebooks, but then noticed this one.I love the sturdy hardback and the cute linen fabric. The cherry on top of the sundae was that it is a woman owned business!!I really like the two page markers especially. I’m using a pencil, but the paper seems thick enough that a pen probably would not bleed through. It also is very durable for a lot of my erasing that I’m doing!!

The Journal you always wanted
The attention to detail is unmatched- I ordered the linen and love the feel, the silver on the edges of the pages adds a beautiful touch, the two ribbons in the book is exactly what I needed so I don’t have to fold down a page for reference, the back pocket is not all paper (sides have a linen material so it won’t rip), I also love how the pages are numbered but what I really love is the quality of the paper, the way the journal lies flat when opened, and the way the lines are spaced. Many cheap journals have the complete opposite of these features. Another great touch is in the back of the the book there are some pages which are perforated. This feature allowed me to give a customer a graph I created in our meeting. I typically do not have the time to write reviews but this one I wanted to make time to do- what a great find!

NOT FOR FOUNTAIN PENS
Using a medium nib and a broad nib with two of noodler's rather quick drying inks and still got pretty unattractive feathering and ok on bleed through not great. Paper is not fountain pen friendly at all which is extremely disappointing. Mainly why i purchased it. Other than the paper being bad, the overall construction is great. Beautifully designed. Just needs a quality paper to round it out.Updated, using fine nibbed fountain pens are also not great and i find the paper is resistant to wanting to draw the ink smoothly and have to apply more pressure to the nib than i would have to with a quality paper

Solid notebook
After the whole coronavirus ordeal pushing everything online (shopping, school, work, friendships, etc.) I got pretty sick and tired of looking at screens and doing everything digitally. So I decided to buy a physical notebook for whenever I wanted to jot something down, instead of always using the Notes app on my phone (which I still use, but more for quick stuff when I don’t have a pen handy). Since having this notebook, I’ve been doing quite a bit of writing.I use this book every Sunday to take sermon notes, as well as journaling and taking notes on books I’ve read. And it’s held up pretty well.Size and durability on this are perfect. It’s big enough that I can fit a reasonable amount on a page, but small enough to slip into a small bag inconspicuously.Only complaint would be the outward design. It just feels like it’s missing something, with the fox logo on the front bottom and nothing in the middle of the cover. But, that’s an issue of personal preference. If the design in the picture looks good to you, I can’t see any other reason not to recommend this.
