NARSEyeshadow Duo ~ Jolie Poupee 4g/0.14oz

The eyeshadow container had something sticky on the outside. Had to put in something else so I didn’t have to handle it. I even tried to wash the outside, didn’t work.

love these colors. needed them. finally ran out of the first tin i bought about 6 years ago. i am so glad i found these shades again. thank you.

The eyeshadow was broken but the box was not damaged.

I have found NARS eyeshadows to vary a bit in quality, and this one falls somewhere in the top of the middle. It is not as pigmented as Habanera, for example, but it is far more so than Charade. The dark side is not as navy as it looks in the picture, which I actually like. It's more a smoky deep grey. The other side is harder to explain. If you know Makeup Geek's Rockstar, it is similar to that, but more beige-y and less silky. It's less taupe than it looks in the picture. I don't think you can do a whole look with just these two colors unless you're going for something really understated (the light color on the lid and the dark as liner) or VERY bold because of the contrast. I always use a primer with my shadows, and this stays at least 10 hours.I am happy I bought it. I find myself using the dark shade very often to get just the right deepness to a dark crease look.

This is my favorite eye shadow combo of all time. The colors are so beautiful and have such depth without being overwhelming. Really buildable and not much fallout.

Nothing wrong with the eyeshadow itself, I love Nars products and find their eyeshadows to be the best for me as I have senstivie skin. Their colours are beautiful. However, the box was pretty beaten up and when I took the little eyeshadow palate out it was so incredibly sticky! I tried to wipe it over with an antibacterial wet wipe and it wasn't coming off and used tissue after and it just stuck to it. I find it pretty gross that it's covered in some sticky gunk that won't come off and every time I handle it now my hands get all sticky.

Lovely colours, especially the light minty green shade.
