This is the most awesome swimsuit top I have ever owned! Material is a good thickness, sturdy, has a flattering fit, and I can wear some patterns as a top without cover-up. They are especially nice in hot, humid weather to wear as a top to prevent getting your bra and shirt sweaty. I love the top so much, I went and bought four more! They take about two - three days to dry out after swimming, and I hate wearing a wet bathing suit, so I bring extra tops. I bought the multi-block print with the pretty colors, and it is fun, colorful, and I have worn it as a top for just walking around. As a swimsuit top, it works great and I have been snorkeling in it without it riding up. I also bought the Leopard print, and it looks fun and sexy. There are pads in the bra top. They do need to be moved around for proper coverage before putting on each time (and especially after washing) and seem to stay in place all day. Between the padding and the pattern, I feel comfortable that there is no show through or bulges of parts of my anatomy that I would rather not show off.The 18W fit well for my 46" bust and 38" waist.. The fit is form fitting but not too tight. It is snug enough that it looks slimming and shows my curves nicely without showing any little rolls in the back.I love wearing this top with a short sleeve blouse over it from our hotel to our cruise ship with a pair of swimsuit shorts (purchased separately since the ones that come with the top look more like a swim suit), so I am already to go into the pool. The multi-block pattern suit looks like nice enough to pass for a well fitting tank top, and the Leopard one will look nice at dinner under a black wrap.The black and and white flower pattern (thought it would look good under a black jacket for dinner). does look more like a bathing suit print, so it is the my least favorite out of the multi-block print and leopard print. I do not use the bottoms that are included, standard swimsuit fit. I prefer swimsuit shorts for greater thigh coverage and so I don't have to wear a cover-up or another pair of shorts on top. Also, the top is a bit long, so to see something black at crotch level poking out looks a bit funny against the long multi-colors or even the leopard top. 8-)

My swim team days are a distant memory in a previous century, but I've always worn racing suits. As I'm rounding the corner into that 'aging gracefully' stage, I felt it was time to search for a more up-to-date style for beach days with my future grandchildren. Enter the adorable and entertaining Frederique Bros, a Franco-Australian lifestyle influencer who recommends this suit in her amazon shop. I'm forever in her debt.Referring to anything as the Holy Grail of [X] is hyperbolic at best, dubious at worst, but honestly I feel like this really is the Holy Grail of Swimsuits. The high neckline is modest and keeps the water from going down the front of the suit while lap swimming, just like a racing suit. The strap configuration is unusual but very stable and comfortable and the next best thing to a cross- or racer-back. The bodice is not blousy, but not tight, and it doesn't float up in the water or flop around while swimming. The bottom is midrise, has modest but not constraining leg openings, and it covers your derriere properly, which is more than I can say for some racing suits I've worn.The best thing about this suit is that I just don't think about it while I'm wearing it. No worries about suit malfunctions. No parts of the suit ride up or fall down. No risk of various aspects of my anatomy escaping. It is a solid and reliable suit that still manages to be cute and flattering. An added bonus: after more than fifty years of swimsuit-wearing, it is a blessed relief to finally keep my top bits covered when I have to use the loo.

I have NOT worn this in water yet. -The top--I followed the advice I read in reviews and ordered a size up(XL). It's a little bit too big, more like a loose T-shirt around my waist, but I prefer that to having it too small. The top is very comfortable, but there is absolutely no support (which I need!) The pads ARE definitely in a weird spot--off to the sides rather than where they would be helpful. I'm going to order some sort of bra to wear with it. I wouldn't wear this swimsuit without one. The fabric feels nice, and it's pretty--blue paisley. -The bottoms--they must run skimpy as others have said because these fit me well. I'm smaller in bottoms(Med) and wear larger tops(L-XL). I went up a size for the top, and these larger bottoms fit well with just a tiny bit of looseness around one leg. My normal size in bottoms would have been too small. -There is no tummy control in either the top or the bottom. -The packaging was weird--a frosted ziploc type bag with the address label stuck on. Anyone could have opened my package along the way.UPDATE: I was able to remove the padding from the shelf liner in the top. The top looks great with the black swim bra that I purchased separately. It's a flattering suit!

Purchasing a swimsuit online can be a test of perseverance, and it's helpful to understand your own preferences for cut and style. Now in my mid-60s and with an athletic slim build, I was searching for a pretty, functional and flattering swim suit. This tankini is perfect. It is fitted enough to provide a nice outline, but not so form fitting that every bulge is accentuated. The bottom provides good coverage without being "cheeky." The higher neckline provides decent sun protection. For reference, I am 5'7" and 122 lbs with a 36 C/D cup. Size large fit perfectly.

Terrible quality. Very very thin material. Hardly any elastic in the bottoms. The top is just one thin layer of material, no lining or support. Not padded or anything. Literally just a piece of material that’s just been cut out.
