I bought a very nice house (that did not require additional tubes) for some mason bees that i ordered online from Crown Bees and later offered these Reed tubes to see which our little bees wanted.As soon as i put these next to the bee house the mason bees began to build their mud nesting in these tubes. I watched as one flew in soon after i put them out and they 'inspected' the tube carefully. I placed tubes so that the back side was not exposed in a container. After 'careful inspection' these tubes, building began of cocoons. No more cocoons put into 'fancy house.'The mason bees are particular about the right kind of mud too and the mud does need to be moist and near their nest. The bees do drink lots of water as i noticed their frequent trips to water that i put in a shallow dish with several small stones for them to stand on (to prevent them drowning in deep water while they drink). It is fun to watch them fly over to their tubes with mud stuck to their little feet and build their 'mason cocoon' - I spend lots of time in the garden area as it calms me to watch nature. I raise monarch butterflies and now have my new crew of mason bees hard at work on the flowers and flowering trees. :) My flowering trees and flowers seem to have so many more blooms now that also seem to last longer.

My wife an I are avid gardeners. We purchased the Veezy Mason Bee House kit in an effort to boost the natural pollination of the flowers. What a great product and value for the money. The kit has everything you need to easily make your own bee house. The materials are very good quality and will surely stand the test of time. The kit even includes a brick of mud to seal the back of the reeds. I am very happy with the product. In fact, I purchased two more kits after assessing the first kit. This will be my second season raising Mason Bees and I am so happy to have found these tubes. They are perfectly sized and consistent quality compared to the tubes that came with my Mason Bee house originally. Also, they thought of everything. Not only do you get the tubes, but the clay and rain shield are extremely useful and an added bonus.

This by far is the best of all the products I have researched. Best quality, best consistency, best price AND the kit is more than just the tubes. Included are clay for filling the back of the tube and heavy gauge clear soft plastic to custom cut and construct a rain shield or awning. Wow!. A complete kit, all you need is the the frame. I built mine out of scrap pvc pipe and a wooden backstop. Added a strap for hanging and done. See photo. Highly recommend this product for the Mason bee people out there!

I have a mason bee house with the cardboard tubes, noticed the tubes were not doing well in the wet spring weather. The rain was causing them to disintegrate. Found the natural reed tubes work much better. The Veezy kit contains 100 tubes, clay for end-stoppers, a plastic roof-covering, and some tape for holding the tubes together. This is a great kit, everything I needed. Very high quality and very inexpensive.

I made 3 beehouses. It was something I really liked doing.And am quite bummed Amazon will not allow me to take pictures yo shate with you all. They look good. You get everything you need to make the beehouses.Except a bird feeder or frame whatever you want to make your house out of.And a glue gun and glue sticks if you prefer too use them. I did on one and not the other.

Great product. The reeds were sturdy and the right size. Clay to plug the back of the tubes, rain shield and bundle tape all included. Reeds are the proper product as they are preferred by Mason bees and they dry out. Bamboo tubes hold moisture and can create a Bee Graveyard!! Great job. Will be ordering more!!
