It does work.
So, faced with the decision, do I get a new computer that works fine, or find out if I can just get a new battery. This computer is about 9 years old. If not plugged into the wall the entire time, it does not work. Battery is about as dead as my ambition to deal with dating. So, figured might as well just get a new battery for this aging dinosaur and see if it works. Computer is fine outside of, well, the battery issue. Old HP. Most of you do not even have cars that old. I will say, follow the instructions and it does work. Fits in nicely, does what it is supposed to do. Does it last as long as the factory battery did? No. But, fully charged, I do get about 2.5-3 hours of time to sit outside with it working just fine. For this price, worth it. Hope it does not go bad in a few months but for the price, I'll risk it.

It fits!
Great fit and right specs. I couldn't recall what the original battery provided in terms of battery life, bit I think I'm getting "like new" battery life based on some research. I guess the original life just wasn't all that long to begin with. Just glad to be able to extend the laptop's life a bit.

Piece of cake to install as expected. Works fine.
My old battery was getting tired and on a good day I might get near an hour our out of it. This one works like when the computer was brand new which gives me near 3 hours depending on what I am doing. I wish it could work like my chromebook where I get some 10+ hours but I am happy it does what it is supposed to. I would recommend it to anyone.
