Kwikset 98001-374 Tavaris Single Cylinder Handleset w/Vedani Lever featuring SmartKey in Satin Nickel

Easy to install, looks just like the pictures. I love the smart key feature! That was also easy to do. It's nice because I only replaced the one door handle, so smart key meant I could keep my current key. Love, love, love that.My only qualm is that it smudges easily. So fingerprints galore. But they wipe off fine so it really isn't a big deal. And I'm pretty sure all door handles get fingerprints easily and I'm just sensitive to it because it's new.

This handle set feels like a solid upgrade from my previous set. Works smoothly and looks modern. Installed fairly easy but it was not 'plug and play'. Existing mounting holes needed some minor tweaks with a dremel. Overall a good product so far.

I really like the look and feel of this door handle set. The materials seem sturdy and give me the impression they'll hold up for quite a while (It's been about 5 months so far and no issues). Installation did take a while despite the previous door handle fitting almost the exact same format/holes/etc, but that is likely more due to my inexperience in doing it than anything in the product design. I will say, the only slightly negative thing about this for me was the price seemed pretty high, but compared to the quality feel and look I'd say it's worth it.

They combination looks great together. The single cylinder thumbturn is a bit clunky aesthetically, but it all works together. The handle bottom hole does not line up vertically with many other Kwikset handles. It would have been great if Kwikset included a small paintable/rubber plug for existing holes.The lever/latch mechanisms are solid feeling don't know if that changes over the years but as a new set it felt much more solid. Tension is balanced and fluid making it just as ease to open up or down when your hands might be full.Because of the hard lines getting the handle on straight and getting the lever to stay level are pretty annoying visually. This kit does not come with the plastic level adapter for the lever. It probable doesn't matter as that doesn't seem to keep the Vedani level straight anyway.Great looking set though and the Amazon price blows all discounted and retailers online away.

I didn't realize that it was considered a commercial unit when I ordered it and only discovered that when we got it. Hubs was very reluctant to put it on our new door as he thought it would be too large and bulky for a residential door. I insisted and LOVE it. We have relights on each side of the door which makes it feel a little larger but even our son, who initially agreed with hubs, changed his mind and likes it a great deal. It looks modern and I think it will be easy to keep cleaned. Very happy customer.

Relatively easy to install and looks so classy. I did have to drill a new hole in the door for the bottom of the handle which was easy peasy. The setup is sturdy and functions wonderfully. One thing I didn’t realize is that when leaving your house, you have to lock it from the outside with your key as the deadbolt is the only part that locks. Minor inconvenience and given the beauty of the piece, it’s well worth it.

I installed this in under 30 minutes. Looks great for an updated look and it’s great quality heavy solid piece for my heavy solid front door.

This set looks great installed but, the directions were a little difficult to understand. You really have to follow the pictures and diagrams because the wording is not sufficient unless you have done this type of installation before. In the end I got help installing it from a guy who is a handyman and even he had difficulty when looking at the instructions. He ultimately did it without them so I'm pretty sure I couldn't have done it on my own and I'm pretty handy around the house. It was a great purchase and way less cost than what the big box stores sell them for so, in the end, it was worth swallowing my pride and letting someone help me with the install.
