Mixed feelings on the purity, but smells AMAZING!
I have mixed feelings on this oil so I waited until I had another roman chamomile to compare it to, used it for multiple puposes, and did a little at home testing before posting a review. Here we go. 1) you will love the smell of this oil. From the second I cracked the bottle I was in love. It is sooo strong and honey like with a strong floral fragrance. It instantly relaxes you and sweeps you away. On smell alone, it's 5 stars, BUT it is my first roman chamomile and I didn't have anything to compare it to at first, so I made it a point to smell more. 2) I noticed a lot of reviews questioning its purity so I next put it in my diffuser and checked the water a couple hours later. It is not uncommon for your diffuser water to cloud a LITTLE bit while in use, but if the water turns milky white and the oil dissolves completely into it instead of dispersing across the top of the water, you know that there is something else in the oil. A 100% pure oil will not do that. It means some solvent is still present or some type of emulsifier, additive, or even natural good quality carrier oil has been added to increase volume. Sad face. It is still so strong and lovely smelling in my night blends that I use it anyway, but only in the diffuser. 3) I used it in a couple of my skin formulations anyway, because of the pretty smell, and only once to see if it caused irritation. Whatever is added to it does not irritate or break out my skin, but I won't use it in a face formulation because I don't know what it is. 4) I stopped and smelled roman chamomile at every possible opportunity in passing, at health food stores, in order to get a better sense of what it should smell like. The ones at the store (aura cacia, now, oshadi, wyndmere) all had slightly varying smells, but in general seemed to be a lot lighter, and less sweet/heavy/honey flowery. I purchased Atleya Organics roman chamomile for my in home side by side testing and comparison. The alteya does not cloud the duffuser, but also does not smell nearly as strong or pretty as the aviano botanicals RC. It is more herbal and light. Still pretty, but not intoxicating like the Aviano RC. 5) I could finally get them on paper for the paper test. I would like to suggest that everyone read up on the paper test before treating it as a fool proof test of purity in home. First off, it will only tell you if a Carrier type oil has been added. Most smart companies trying to cheat you are wise to this test and use alcohols and other chemicals that evaporate without a trace instead of a Carrier oil, which is actually less harmful to you but easier to detect. Some of the worst, cheapest, crappier oils I have purchased pass the paper test with flying colors. Better than my expensive proven quality ones! Second, certain oils just can't be tested that way, like sandlewood or oils dirived from resins. They can take days to evaporate or never and still be good quality. So take the paper test with a grain of salt. Its a helpful tool that helps give you a sense of an oil, but doesn't bottom line prove anything for sure. See photos for reference. In my first picture, without the botlles, the oils have been on the paper for 20-30 minutes. You can see that Atleya is dissappearing faster. The second, with the bottles, was taken the next morning. Aviano RC is still a big fat grease spot and the other dissappeared. 6) THE VERDICT- I still like the Aviano botanicals and will puchase it again based on the smell alone. I love it but can't give it five stars because it is clearly not a pure oil. What this means for me is that I will use the other very pure but more expensive oil (Atleya) for my health and beauty formulations and in first aid because I know it is better for my skin and safe to absorb in my body. It doesn't smell as lovely though! So I will still happily diffuse the Aviano RC for aromatherapy benefits and it will be AWESOME in my cold process soaps. The price of the Aviano reflects its quality and I believe that it is at least mixed with a Carrier oil from the paper test, not something more harmful. I will buy it again to make soap with. It has a purpose and adds a lovely natural smell to my home, but is not 100% pure. If you want to use an RC on your skin, go with a different brand and expect less quantity at a higher price tag, but it will be better suited to your needs. If you are diffusing or making a diluted perfume BUY THIS!. I seriously think it is one of the most beautiful smelling oils out there. It arrived in the time frame promised, not leaking, well packaged.

ok I have copd and caught a horrible cold. When you catch a cold and have copd and a heavy cigarette smoker [several packs a day] its a really bad combination. I am unable to lay down at night and I sit up on the bed most of the night coughing and coughing and it only gets way worse if I lay down. So I read somewhere use lavender essential for soar throat. So I gave lavender a try. I put one drop on my finger and rubbed it on the front of my neck where I hurt from coughing so much. Funny thing is I got more than what I ever expected. No ony did it help the pain in my throat but it aslo calmed my coughing to practically none and I was able to lay down and go to sleep. I wasn't sure the first time if it was the oil cause im new to oils or if it was just my imagination. So I tried it again the next two nights and got the same result both nights. The only thing I can conclude is it had to be the oil. However I cant stand the smell of it but who cares as long as it stops me from coughing. That's a small price to pay for what it does for my throat and cough so I can put up with the smell if I gotta. I am new to using oils anyway and have much to learn about them. Most I ordered I have never even opened yet and have had for couple of months. I got 60 or more oils that I need to figure out what to do with. But the lavender is a must have for my throat and cough situation. People say it is not a strong oil, well in a diffuer I might agree but using it neat like on your neck is another story. Its very very horribly strong smelling and I hate the smell.

Wonderful Smell
It seems to be more highly concentrated than others I have bought.! Lavender (lavandula angustifolia) is the most versatile of all essential oilsThis lavender oil has a very strong smell.Uses include to cleanse cuts, bruises and skin irritations. . Most commonly known for its relaxing effects on the body. It is one of my favorites. Not only can it be used for a ton of stuff, it smells all so wonderful The fragrance is calming and I carry a bottle of lavender around with me because even in the wilderness you will need it, my own personal first aid kit. Fight off fatigue by adding a few drops of lavender oil to a warm foot soak. Use a few drops of lavender oil to clean infected wounds, prevent infection, and promote faster healing. Add lavender oil to an all-natural cleanser or moisturizer to help clear up acne and reduce scarring. Lavender oil can be used to soothe pain from minor burns, cuts, and bruises. Rub a few drops of oil on and around irritated skin. Many flying insects dislike the smell of lavender, making it a safe alternative to other topical insect Added to boiling water may be steam-inhaled to open nasal passages and help clear up sinus infections. My favorite use is for the bedroom, it can help you sleep better. Sprinkle on pillows Also been known to relieve earaches by massaging warm lavender oil into skin behind ears, over temples, under the jaw, and on the sides of the throat. Use it also as a natural deodorizer by adding the oil to your laundry to kill odor-causing bacteria during the wash cycle. You can also sprinkle lavender oil on drier sheets to add a boost of pleasant floral aroma to clothes, bedding and towels. Used are almost endless. I hope you try a few I have mentioned.***IN EXCHANGE for my true impartial review, my own findings, I received this Promotional Item at no cost.***

Aviano Rose Oil Works Great
I was skeptical about buying from a brand I was not familiar with but this was a win! I read all the negative & positive comments before purchasing and I have used many different brands of oils for therapeutic use including Young Living, Now & DoTerra. This oil does not disappoint! I've been using it for a month now & when I feel the waves of emotional ups & downs or a little bit snippy I put a drop on the back of my neck & a drop on my wrists & I notice an almost immediate change. Sometimes I reapply later in the day, depending so it does last a while. It works well as a perfume & it mixes well with Sandalwood & Frankincense. I will definitely try to keep this oil on hand at all times & $40 is way better than $150-200!!
