Impressive refurbished
I hate when people rate things 5 stars, this deserves it though.I'm a play station guy and now I'm wondering if I have missed something all this time. This thing is a beast, absolute beast of engineering , I'm impressed. Is it worth it? Yes, every penny. It works perfect, no problems (so far, and I'll update if it has any).It takes ages to download and install Enhanced Games (but an enhanced game takes 100GB of space, so it makes sense)Playing 4k at 60fps in games that my GTX1070 couldn't handle is impressive.

Very impressed And Happy
The Xbox One X arrived in perfect condition and I could not see any scratches or marks on it all and I was very impressed. Graphics are awsome and I had no problems with updates etc. I am very happy I bought this at this super price. Thank you Amazon.

Everything included, including scratches!
I must have been unlucky because my X came with a couple of scratches around the console housing and loads of light scratches on the bottom of the controller where the battery cover is. The controller wasn't sealed in the bag either. Still a good buy, but there is no guarantee you will get a brand new looking machine, and that is stated on the box itself, which as you would expect and is marked "refurbished". Apart from the included scratches, the console cake with everything that you would expect a new console to come with.

Excellent Console, dispatch slightly frustrating.
Dispatch was abit of a frustrating experience but once dispatched, delivery was quick and simple as usual.Item is perfect, had it set up now since delivery, no noises and runs perfectly, even games I played on my One S run smoother. Controller was brand new and the console itself had zero scratches or signs its even been used.Excellent price (I bought it at 179.99), would highly recommend, even if at £299.

Worked flawlessly for 2 weeks, then bricked itself
I wasn’t gonna review it since this was sold out for a while. However, I see it’s back for 299£ so a word of warning from me.Like some other reviewers here I couldn’t believe the luck I had in getting this when it was 179.99£. Everything worked as expected for around 2-3 weeks. However, yesterday it started having issues. First the connection to Live was hit and miss, a few hours later the output HDMI Signal started acting up. It got worse and only worked around 1 out of 10 start ups. I tried low resolution mode, different factory resets and also tried offline updating from a USB stick (didn’t work - option was greyed out even with a correctly formatted pen drive).Unfortunately the Xbox would only start up with the error screens (if it would have any hdmi output at all), so Microsoft supports answer was to return or repair it.Luckily I was still in the returns window so I could send it back to Amazon.A bit disappointing since I already got a few games and a game pass subscription that I can’t use now.At 299£, I wouldn’t recommend risking buying this. The next generation Xbox console will be released in under 2 months, and seems a better deal at 450£ and more than double computing power. However, I’m undecided now between the next Xbox or PS5, since this has been a disappointing experience.

Condition like new!
Received xbox one x and the console was as in as new condition, needed updating before use so ran through update which completed okay on the 3rd attempt. Installed games and all seemed okay for 2 weeks then got an E105 error. Managed to resolve and all again seemed okay. Went to play a Bluray disc at the weekend and error software taking too long to respond. Recommends resetting console back to factory but it took a few days to install games so decided against. Switched on today and an update was available, downloaded but issues installing after multiple attempts E105 error, ran through factory restore and E102 error. Prepairing console then E106 error. Tried Offline USB system update and E101 error. Managed to clear the error and console now reset to factory, tried update but failed. Decided at that point to return as just within 30 day return window. Shame as when it ran it was a great console much better than the xbox one s it was replacing.

£178 for a 12 warranty Xbox one X? - say no more!
I am sure I wasn't the only one who was dubious about buying the ONE X before the release of the new Xbox series X (coming out in November apparently) as why waste the money on the model that's about to be discontinued when closer to Christmas it might be a lot cheaper? Let alone, purchasing a REFURBISHED console that's about to be discontinued (if not already), that was not something I was considering at all. BUT then I saw this retailing at £178 with a solid 12-month warranty. And why not? I doubt that after the release of the new series X another offer like this will come along, or at least it won't for quite a while. Now down to business :It comes with an HDMI of its own, UK power cable, wireless Xbox controller, Xbox Game Pass code (mine when registered came up as 2 months 👍), Xbox Live Gold (also 2 months when registered),all possible official paperwork. It was all sealed and packed as brand new: the box, the console, the components. I would not be able to tell apart the "brand new" xbox from this "refurbished" one, if not for the sticker at the back of the console with a "service number" from a Microsoft specialist who clearly made sure it is new, or at least as new, THERE IS NO WAY OF TELLING OTHERWISE.P. S. I might as well recommend an awesome monitor for this console for those who play on the go😉. It's a 22 inch hannspree ht225hpb. I know it's not a 4k, but you have to be really picky to notice the difference! If this console retails at under £200 again, just buy it! You won't be disappointed.

Significant improvement over Xbox One S
Got this from Amazon Warehouse for £120. Even though it didn't come with a controller (Amazon Warehouse had made that clear in the desciption) it's still fantastic value. I've connected it to a 28 inch 4k LED monitor and the visuals / graphics are noticeably better than the One S. If you can pick one up for this price then it might keep you going until the Series X gets a discount - which mighn't be for a while.
