Like breaking open a geode and discovering what it holds inside in the form of pale blue and purple crystals. It can be used on its own, or in concert with Ice To Never and Wavelength. Even though it is a light color, appearing white in the bottle, Crystal Cavern is intended for use over a black primer as shown in the photographs. Great paint
Turbo dork really makes some of the best metallic and color shifts available.

Color shift is difficult to see on a stationary object with a stationary light source
I didn't supply any photos because it's nearly impossible to capture the color shifting effects with non-professional camera and lighting. The paint does produce a color shift from one hue to another, but only if you move either the light or the object around. It's not really noticeable if the object or the light source is stationary. Even with a gloss black base coat, you have to apply 5 to 6 coats of the color shift paint before the effect begins to look nice. That's far too time and labor intensive for painting gaming miniatures, where you need many minions. Total disappointment for me. With that many coats of paint, you also begin to lose surface details on the miniatures.
