Ford BC3Z-9940602-B Moulding

This is a genuine part and fits as it should.It slips under the access panel without having to remove or lessen it.I recommend adding 2 or 3 316 stainless screws to hold it down as the original hold down holes in the tail gate are probably damaged if your original molding has come off. If you have tailgate damage it is almost impossible to fully engage the plastic clips on the moulding to the tailgate and the molding will not be fully captured. Next time you slide an object out of the bed with the tailgate down the molding will come off again.

I ordered this for my 2013 F250 since my previous molding flew off on the highway. Its snapped on easily and the screws I purchased along with it helped secure it. The only complaint I have is that it seems to be a littler shorter than the original molding by about 1/4 inch. I now have this scuffed area from the previous molding on the outside of the tailgate. I will admit that the original piece that came with the truck wasn't the greatest either. My truck is more of a show truck than a work truck and that is the only reason I didn't give it a 5.

I purchased this for my 2011 Ford F350 Diesel 8ft bed. (The description said this would fit my truck) Unfortunately the moulding did not cover the length of the tailgate, There was a big gap on each end of about 3in where there was no coverage. My stock piece was not like that. The actual quality of the moulding was fine, it just did not fit.

Was not what I needed, costs more to ship back than what the price of the part is, make sure this is what you need before ordering, I'm stuck with mine because of the $70.00 shipping to send it back.

Bought for my 2015 F350. Even though the part of the tailgate that the cap covers was slightly bent and damaged the cap snapped right into place. I’m going to put a couple screws on the inside of the tailgate to hold it on for extra insurance.

Either my 2011 F-250 has a after market tailgate or this piece doesn’t fit them. The screw holes didn’t come close to lining up.

Great OEM tailgate cap. After breaking 2 others off in the past, I screwed this one in (the holes line up perfectly), and I am confident it will look great and function properly for years to come! Put on 2008 F350 Super Duty Crew Cab.
