This really has been a great purchase, we have two cavilears in the home and the masses of fur and the doggy smell was starting to bother me, since buying this the smell has gone and the room smells much fresher, I've also noticed the fur you sometimes find everywhere has halved dramatically... The machine is not loud even on setting three to the point I've forgotten it's on and gone to bed... Definately worth buying if your considering a purifier for pet smells

After leaving it on persistently for a matter of days in the hallway, it has definitely improved the air quality in my parents home, which is full of dust particles, air born allergens and recently the addition of my cat with her dander! I always leave it on the low night setting as it’s too noisy otherwise. The timer is good, although I tend to just always need it on. It does however leave the rooms cold as it kicks out a light cold breeze. This means sometimes have to turn it off and put the central heating back on.

Wow. If you are upgrading from a previous levoit air (eg lv-h132) this is a serious step forward and for the price (got mine on sale) well worth it. Even though the specs say sound difference is minimal (from 25db quietest to 24db in latest model) it is no comparison. Maybe i got a duffer first time round (likely). Earlier model of mine had bit of a rattle in the fan from day one and iPhone will say its more like 40db at its quietest in real life. Oh well I thought. Now I know what i was missing. The latest is a super quiet soft whoosh on lowest setting. And it is swallowing up loads more air per second then earlier model! The "purification per decibel level" is the real metric and its a night and day difference. Plus the really annoyingly loud beep when you press any button is gone. Im sure my neighbours will appreciate that at night. Comes with the filter specialised for pet odours supposedly but when you read the specs the size of particles it filters includes mould spores etc. Makes me wonder really what the difference is with the new range of specialised 350 filters that target mould. Will they not get rid of pet odours just as well? Seems bit of a gimmick that one and who is really going to want to swap them regularly? What are pet owners with british wintery mould on windows supposed to do, choose one over the other? Nonetheless nice piece of hardware only slightly larger but so much better designed and the price per CADR/db is hard to beat. The more expensive bigger options from big brand names arent giving you more value on these fundamentals they are charging more for the air quality sensor "smart" addons. If you want that get a real air quality sensor with better stats and a better app that is more useful.

I've 3 cats, this works great for smaller spaces to remove smell and excess cat hair from the air. Little noisy.

i have hay fever + cat hair.... but i have a cat.. so having this, actually made a massive difference. THANKS!

My filter lasted 5 months.So amazon set me a new unit to replace it as it should last minimum 6 months. The refills are £45+ each so bare that in mind when buying that you'll likely spend 100 a year changing filters

I have had this air purifier for a year now and the ‘check filter’ light came on so I replaced the filter (photo att). I bought it when I got a cat, knowing I would be allergic. I just really wanted a cat and I take anti histamines for hay fever etc a lot of the year anyway so I figured I’d find a way to make it work. Also asthmatic. The combination of anti histamines and the air purifier really seem to do the trick. I leave it running on ‘night mode’ all the time. My brother is very allergic to cats (more than me) and when he visits I move it into his bedroom at night, blast the room on full power (3) for 20 mins and then leave on night mode and he is fine. I have a small 2bed house, the unit is usually in the living room where the cat spends a lot of time, and seems to work ok even though I generally leave the doors open - it’s not practical to keep them shut although that is recommended. Very simple to change the filter. Would add that they recommend carefully vacuuming the filter (avoid making contact with it) once a month to prolong its life and efficacy. I used the ‘quick start’ instructions so have only just realised this - probably why mine is so clogged up. I try to keep the cat out of the bedroom and have an ‘air steriliser’ in there - this does not need filters which is handy but is only good for ‘low traffic’ areas since it takes longer to treat the air.

Nice product after I eventually received it having been delayed 3 times. Seems ok up to now but does feel like a fan when I’m near it which is a little disappointing. Thought it was sopposed to be a air purifier not a fan.

The media could not be loaded.  Haben uns diesen Luftreiniger gekauft da die Katzenklo's unserer beiden Kater im Flur stehen und demensprechend der Geruch manchmal sehr streng ist.Wir haben schon vieles ausprobiert aber nichts hat bisher wirklich geholfen.Wir haben den Luftreiniger jetzt schon einige Monate in Gebrauch (läuft bei uns eigentlich 24/7 durch) und ich bin absolut begeistert. Die Luftqualität ist spürbar besser geworden und vorallem der üble Geruch des Katzenklos wird dadurch wesentlich minimiert. Natürlich ist er dadurch nicht komplett verschwunden aber es hilft wirklich sehr.Was mich auch erstaunt hat ist, dass einer unser Kater sein Verhalten seitdem komplett geändert hat. Er war immer sehr sensibel was die Gerüche angeht. Sobald das Katzenklo etwas mehr gestunken hat, hat er wiederholt mitten in den Flur uriniert um zu signalisieren das er mit dem Gestank nicht einverstanden ist.Seitdem wir den Luftreiniger haben ist die Luft offensichtlich so gut das er nicht mehr das Bedürfnis hat in den Flur zu urinieren.Das Gerät ist sehr leicht zu bedienen und in der ersten uns zweiten Stufe auch wirklich relativ leise. Die Dritte Stufe ist recht laut aber ich behaupte mal, dass man die eigentlich gar nicht braucht wenn man das Gerät, so wie wir, immer an hat.Der Filter lässt sich problemlos wechseln und hält ziemlich lange. (nach ca. 3 Monaten kam bei uns die Lampe, welche an den Wechsel erinnert)Das einzige was mich persönlich stört ist der recht hohe Preis der Filter, deswegen auch 1 Stern Abzug.FAZIT:Absolut toller Luftreiniger zum fairen Preis, der nicht nur uns gefällt sondern auch den beiden Katern gut tut.
