Easy to install; works well
This device works fine with my Roku Express 4K+ feeding an older Visio TV. I cannot see much difference in the video quality nor hear much difference in the audio quality when using this adapter as compared to feeding the TV's HDMI input directly. Installation of the adapter was quick and easy (powered from the TV's USB port) and was literally "plug and play". I got this adapter because the Visio TV has only one HDMI input, and I wanted to be able to switch easily between the Roku device and the cable box using the TV's input selection. (Previously, I used an HDMI switch - which was good signal-wise but inconvenient because the HDMI switch isn't remotely operable).I've used this HDMI-to-RCA adapter for only a couple weeks so far, but it has worked fine during that time and appears to be well-made. It does have the typical problem of adding to the tangle of cables around the TV. ;-)

Great for streaming on old TV's.
I used the HDMI converter to hook up an Amazon Fire Stick on a 25 year old TV. It works great.

I got what I needed
It arrived quickly, was a good price, but unable to get it to work on my old TV. It may not be this device, more likely the person trying to get the old TV to do something new. Still a work in progress. But as for the company that sent it, it was exactly what they said and I hope it will work with a plug in Roku since this old firestck wouldn't work.

Problemas con el sonido. Sound problem
The media could not be loaded. Saludos.=================================Greetings to all. I hope this helps those who buy the BLAST HDMI Dongle and play video but not audio. It may be that the TV from which BLAST was connected does not play sound in a stereo format. How do I know if my TV does not play stero sound? , refer to the manual or search for specifications via the Internet. A good indicator to know if there are 1 or 2 speakers on TV. If you have 2 speakers it is a sign that that you will have tv stereo sound. I thought about returning the device to the manufacturer and requesting a refund. But I studied the situation a little more. Includes a good adapter that converts HDMI to RCA format. This converter has ONE HDMI input and three color variations: Red-White-Yellow (most of the time). I connected these plugs to the respective RCA inputs on my TV. Check that everything is properly connected (the BLAST and the adapter, including the power plugs) and turn on my TV in the correct input (line, or source). Of course, I paid more than I thought, because of the adapte, but I will use it for other devices. The video and audio quality degrades a bit, but is still good. Anyway, that's how it was in the 80s.Bye.
