Tragic Story. But we should be Careful not to Live in Pity and Constant Praise.
This is a very well written book about events we deem as unconscionable. It’s amazing to learn the criminal justice system has malicious intent and fault throughout its process to destroy someone’s life. And as many people do, I feel immense compassion toward Anthony Graves for what he endured because of a corrupt system and am very glad he was able to get the corrupt former district attorney disbarred. But I have a very difficult time believing Anthony Graves wrote this book himself. I have a hard time believing he was nothing but an angel in his life who has not made mistakes and hurt others and that is how his book portrays him in an effort to focus strictly on his unjust conviction. Before his arrest, for example, Anthony Graves was arrested on a drug charge, had three small children from three different women, none of whom he married or was with at the time of his arrest, was unemployed living in various people’s homes, and dating other women whom had small children at the time of his arrest at the age of 26. An age that many are at least four years in a career after college, married with children. Perhaps this is a result of his own upbringing because it appears he is one of several children where some of his siblings have a different father. And, since his release he has committed adultery having an affair on his wife and has lied to others to hurt them without any ounce of compassion of how it made them feel.Anthony Graves’ book very rightly tells us that he has been a victim for at least two decades. For a young man to be literally picked up off the streets and be thrown in a cage for nearly 20 years for a crime he didn’t commit is extremely tragic. And since he was released eight years ago this is literally all he has talked about. That is what all his speeches are about. Him and his devastating story. While we should feel bad and outraged about what happened to him, it has been eight years since Anthony Graves’ release and it is very important for him to move on and focus primarily on helping those wrongly incarcerated to get out of prison. There is only so much success one can do by flying around the world to tell your story and it has been eight years. Helping set other innocent people who are incarcerated and on death row free is greater success in my opinion. The Anthony Graves foundation was created to do just that and that should be his primary focus, as well as changing lives, and talking about that non-stop vs. his own story over and over again. We are thankful for Anthony Graves sharing his story with the writing of his book. It is important for us to learn what the system is capable of doing, and how it can destroy lives so that we can get involved to make improvements. However, we as a society should be careful about offering consistent praise and sympathy to anyone we feel sorry for. It does that person and the community absolutely no good. We are all human beings at the end of the day who make mistakes and should be held accountable for our actions. But once we put someone on a pedestal simply because we feel sorry for them, we have the tendency to overlook, or ignore any of their wrong doings. When we do that we create an egotistical environment for that person to live in giving them a false sense of security that they can do no wrong no matter what they do, because it will be overlooked and forgiven out of pity. We as a society do this with celebrities, athletes, and the like and it is not healthy.

It's a story both infuriating and inspiring.
Well written, clear, direct, and I finished it in two sessions, which has become more difficult for me as of late (internet, etc. you know). You get to know the man. He is truly a beautiful person and this is probably what saved his life and got so many people to fight for him. I was blown away at the end how he in person forgives the prosecutor who deliberately put an innocent man behind bars. I'm disgusted with the legal system and its unwillingness/inability to right a known wrong expeditiously. But the author is never distracted by such negative emotions, and stays positive and hopeful. Getting to know the author through this book is very inspiring.

This book should be a best seller. It is unfortunate that Mr. Grave was wrongly convicted. As you read his story, which is very well written and easy to read, you realize the enormity of injustice, and corruption in our judicial system. It's like you become that fly on the wall where you can see and hear everything. I learned so much of the normally untold story about the literal blind eye of justice, and its "make it fit" justifications. That Mr. Graves was able to rise above the hell he found himself in, and finally get to enjoy "freedom" was remarkable. And to those who worked against all odds to gain his freedom, thank you!

A remarkable life story- of a man that survived a devastating ordeal. The title Infinite meaning limitless - to no end is what his faith in God and determination to one day be a free MAN. I applaud you Mr Graves, for your success in writing this story, your testimony, your faith stood strong when your body was not willing to do so. You have conquered the ultimate that is "FORGIVENESS".May God continue to keep you strong.Enjoy your family and loved ones.God loves you,RGM

A very compelling real life story
I was able to attend a viewing of a documentary made about Anthony Graves so I purchased this book before I went to the viewing. It is a fast read and gets down to the details of the story quickly without a lot of fluff. This is a very compelling story and should be read by anyone who is concerned about injustices in our criminal judicial system.

Must Read
Excellent book. Anthony Graves tells his story without whining or complaining, which one could easily understand given the atrocious injustice he suffered. Graves has now used the tragedy to fight for prison reform. He has his own foundation and works with the ACLU to stand up against the prison industrial complex.

Eye Opening
I am very grateful to honor Anthony's life by giving ear to his story. It was very eye opening and helped me better understand the realities of our criminal justice system and why reform is so needed.

Powerful
Honestly I'm not sure why I chose to read this book yet I thank God I did. I couldn't put it down to read what Mr. Graves endured yet he held on to his faith in God and his dear mother held him up. So many times I was in tears at the injustice of this world. This is definitely a must read book.
