Scooby Doo!
We love anytbing Scooby Doo related! This season didn't disappoint! It's not on HBO max so we bought this season specifically! We love it! Very child friendly and something new for my niece and nephew to watch. As I stated this one isn't on HBO max. So they like to watch this season when they come over to my place! All around a great series!

Good times for all
This was a nice surprise of all my old favorites.Remembered the one where the gang went to visit Velma's cousin in Salem on Halloween & so many others. This is the original Scooby Doo.Original voices. Original gang. Original crime solving mystery wrapped up by "those pesky kids"This does seem like a 'Best of' but I probably think they all are as long as it's Fred, Velma, Daphne Scooby & Shag.I've recently made several Hanna Barbera streaming purchases of old faves.I love revisiting some of my after school favorites & they still translate with the new generation.Nice to see, good animation translates between the generations.

I May Be Able To Clear Up The Confusion
I am not saying I am certain on this thought but many are asking why is this Scooby Doo DVD called the third season? Well, if you think about it the other scooby cartoons are so different from the Scooby Doo Where Are You Series and this DVD contains the episodes that most resemble the original. I may be wrong but the episodes which featured the celebrities such as Don Knotts and The Three Stooges in 1972 were so different they did not consider it part of the Where Are You? Series. When they came out with This season originally it was Titled The Scooby Doo Show. These episodes most resemble the original shows. I believe they were intended to follow up as the third season of Scooby Doo Where Are You? The confusion to me is why it was not titled Scooby Doo Where Are You? Season 3 in 1976? In Either case they are the only Scooby Doo Episodes that are as enjoyable to watch as the original.

5 Stars for no Scrappy-Doo
Scooby-Doo was one of my favorite cartoons growing up, I couldn't get enough of the Mystery Machine and the Scoobies, the only character I couldn't get into was Scrappy-Doo, he always just rubbed me the wrong way. Fortunately in this DVD collection, he's still nowhere to be found. Having ordered this set along with the first 2 seasons at a great price was well worth it. Since hearing about the problems with the Season 3 discs from friends and fellow Scooby fans who had bought this collection, decided to watch these discs first and then commence watching seasons 1 and 2. To my enjoyment no such problems with repeat episodes were to be found in my purchased set. The discs played perfectly and all episodes mentioned on the inside cover are there intact, hopefully this means the problems were fixed. The show is still as enjoyable as it was when I was a child and I look forward to introducing it to my nephew when he's older.

Excelente!!

Those meddling kids and their dog
This set contains 16 episodes that aired in 1978 - Disc 1 is single sided and Disc 2 is double sided. The featurette on Disc 2 is about William Hanna and Joe Barbera and not specifically about Scooby Doo, though it is mentioned. The shows are all in the original full screen 1.33:1 format with English Dolby Digital mono. There are no subtitles. It's not quite up to the standards set by the original series but any Scooby Doo is better than no Scooby Doo.Disc 1 - Watch Out! The Willawaw - A Creepy Tangle In The Bermuda Triangle -A Scary Night With A Snow Beast Fright -To Switch A Witch -The Tar Monster -A Highland Fling With A Monstrous Thing -Disc 2 , Side A - The Creepy Case Of Old Iron Face -Jeepers, It's The Jaguaro! -Make A Beeline Away From That Feline -The Creepy Creature Of Vulture's Claw -The Diabolical Disc Demon -Disc 2, Side B - Scooby's Chinese Fortune Kooky Caper -A Menace In Venice -Don't Go Near The Fortess Of Fear -The Warlock Of Wimbledon -The Beast Is Awake In Bottomless Lake -Extras: featurette - Hanna Barbera From H To B (21 minutes) & a few trailers for Hanna Barbera dvds

Gotta have My Scooby fix!
Okay first of all, you want all the Scooby you can get right? Well if you start with this it will get you rolling on AFTER you have bought, Scooby-Doo Where Are You! Vol 1 & 2. It is a must have if you are craving the old school saturday morning cartoons back in the U.S.A. and are living abroad but make sure you have a mutli regional player. If you want a complete fix of the Scoobinator ( my nickname for scooby) , then you just have to get, Scooby Doo & Dynomutt Hour: The Complete Series. I know most people who remember dynomutt do not like him that much a tad corny some say but it is an added bonus that comes with Scooby and you need all three to make the collection complete as possible. I have seen all of the Scooby shows as a kid and I know that one is still out there somewhere because I have all of them saved on my SKY Box and it is missing one BUT having said that all three are well worth the cash you will spend if you happen to be living abroad from the states and want a U.S.A. region copy. Came on time , great package, no hassles, no problems , just a lot of memories and laughter. don't forget that there were Scooby Doo Movies as well. I don't know about you but I have to have my Scooby fix!
