Easy to View Birds With It
I like the monovision better than binoculars. It’s lightweight, easy to wrap my hand around it to carry it while on a walk.

Good Scope!
Nice solid scope. I can easily hold & focus with one hand although 2 hands are best. The nylon case has a belt loop so it can be worn at your waist with a belt or fanny pack. I keep it in my car, great for wildlife, road signs, addresses.I gave it 4 stars because the front lens cover is not attached like the rear one is. Both should be so you don't loose the covers. I've attached the front cover with a length of paracord to the wrist strap. For the money, it's a very good scope.

Gosky 12X50 High Power Prism Monocular
I order the Gosky 12X50 High Power Prism Monocular and I must say, I am very happy with this purchase. I ordered a separate case to hold the monocular together with the tripod and phone holder. However, this package also came with a very nice case that holds the monocular only. The images are very bright and clear. I would definitely recommend this. It is very sturdy and feels good in the hand and not too heavy etc. For me, it was definitely worth the money.

Compared to Celestron Nature 10x25
I bought the Gosky 12x50 kit with tripod and phone adapter. For this review I did not use tripod nor adapter, just my phone up to the eye-piece.I did two tests to the same target to compare magnification specifically, as I saw another reviewer claim these Gosky 12x50s were actualy not true 12x mag.Based on my simple tests, I concur that a reputable Celestron 10x mag monocular actually appears to magnify slightly more than the 12x Gosky.I'm using the same full magnification (4x digital) on my phon on both zoomed in photos. The fact is that in both zoomed in photos, similar if not slightly more magnification is apparent on the Celestron view. The wider 50mm objective lens is nice on the Gosky of course, and crisper views, which I believe are due to the light I allowed into the Celestron's eye-piece due to holding the phone manually. The focusing knob on the Gosky is easier to manage while keeping the scope stable, while the Celestron's is stiffer and hard to adjust by finger while viewing.Furthermore, for the published 12x, I'm getting an almost twice bigger monocular with the Gosky, it's simply not warranted without the improved magnification.Make your own decisions, my tests may be simplistic but I think the photos tell a story. For the value of the kit, the Gosky is probably fine, if you're expecting a 10x mag, and dont mind the size of the unit overall. It feels solid and rugged in the hand, and includes front and rear covers.Regardless, I'll be returning this.

Use as directed
I like that I can attach my phone and get close up pictures BUT it takes so long to get it adjusted. I find that keeping the Gosky aligned with the center camera on my Samsung Note 10 is a pain.I tried a different brand monocular first, but it was cheaply made, the adjustments weren't sharp and the tripod broke. I then looked at this one again and decided to spend the extra money. So glad I did! Taking it out of the box, I could feel the difference in quality. A little heavier than my previous one, but better overall. There will always be shots I want to do freehand (an eagle) so I have to remember the picture may not come out. Using the tripod proves more effective with the clarity of the pictures.
