London Craftwork Brompton Metro Pouch - Black 2020 collection

The Brompton Metro Pouch was exactly as advertised and pictured. I have mounted it on my Bompton folding bike and are very happy with it. It is a high quality item.The only thing I would recommend is that the Brompton Logo should be mounted on the top of the bag - on the bag flap - as this logo cannot be seen when the bag is mounted on the back of the saddle with the magnet making contact with the seat post (which puts the bag on an acute angle.Great bag and great service.

The product designers made a rookie error: they designed this bag to fit front or rear. There are many, many better bags designed to use the Brooks saddle loops, but by spacing the straps to let the bag hang in the rear, they compromised it in front, where it is distinctive and potentially very useful.I just toured for two weeks with this bag. It's ideal for keeping a power bank in it to power your mounted phone. If you are running complex routes, a mounted phone (or GPS, but those are going away) is ideal. But for this to work, each strap needs to be a quarter inch further outboard. Otherwise the pouch straps fight the phone mount. And if you move the straps, it no longer fits in back as well.I made do with some Velcro strap extensions, but when I came home, I found a bag that fits better. I may still modify this one however, since it looks good and is a nice size.
