Used for first time this morning and it worked great

We used this for smoking our bee hives to pull full frames to harvest honey

They're a bit smaller than expected, but that's entirely my fault for not reading the dimensions.It takes at least 5-6 of these to get any decent amount of smoke. They do catch on fire easily with a small torch and completely burn up in about 20 minutes.

So far I haven’t been overly impressed with this.I used pine needles, cardboard, and moss to make smoke to start out with and thought it was burning out too fast.Switched to this and have been unimpressed with how it stays lit or how much smoke it produces.Will probably go back to my own mixture.

These work great and they are not pricey!

They work well in my bee smoker.

I bought this product not knowing what to expect. But to make a long story short, if you want any decent amount of smoke for your bee inspections using this product, you will need to use around 5 pellets, if not 6.Depending on the size of your hive or what you are doing, the duration of these pods might last for two hives before you need to add more.They are not incredibly expensive, so if you are a hobbyist and have 1 or 2 hives, they will do just fine. But reloading my smoker in between inspections doesn’t work for me. Smoke also has a strange odor to it.I’m sticking to pine needles, they are free, last way longer, and smell nice.Or you can add one or two pellets to needles for deeper smoke for a short period of time.

Need to be bigger, and what is in them??!!! Surprised customs didnt rip into them, yes I want happy bees but not so much they get the munchies and eat all the honey!

Do not buy!!

Turned the torch on a couple of these and didn’t get much out of them. Wood chips are much more useful and affordable. I was hoping for something much better than what came out of my smoker for the price.
