Carrier Slingbelt with Tether for One Camera. Camera Harness for Hiking and Traveling for Hands-Free Carrying

I'm really happy with this carrying system. For me, it solved the problem of carrying binoculars and camera simultaneously while birding. The camera is secure, out of the way, but still easy to get to. The harness is well made. The mounting system is secure. I wear the safety sling just in case I slip when mounting or dismounting the camera. Highly recommend.

I have both chest and waist harnesses and use either one or the other in my wildlife and photography. I use an e-bike to get into difficult areas carrying a heavy camera and telephoto lens. This would be all but the impossible without a harness. Great product.

I love this carrier! I had looked at other chest-harness styles, but I ultimately decided on this one... And I'm glad I did. The carrier keeps my camera from bouncing around on my body and it takes the strain off my n ck and shoulders. I also REALLY like the shoulder strap it comes with... Not sure how to explain it, but here's a single there point extension instead of just having the camera shift up and down the entire strap. I had a different shoulder harness, and it used to get in the way of my flip screen ALL THE TIME. This one doesn't. Also, there's a buckle quick release for when the shoulder strap is getting in the way or you need to hand the camera off to someone else. And the buckle is strong enough to use without the hip holster ( if you happen to forget it like I did once 😬😆). This carrier really shines on the LONG days. My other shutterbug friends are always jealous!

It's just ok. I think with a small rig, it would be fine. But for sure, doesn't work well with anything larger than a 200mm zoom. Lens bangs against my leg and isn't comfortable.

If you've already bought into the Cotton system, this is worth the buy. Takes the strain off your shoulders during long shoots, especially useful with heavy flash setups. Having your camera on your hip takes a bit of getting used to - I still stick to holding my camera way above my head when moving through tight crowds or spaces. Price tag is kind of ridiculous. I don't know how many of these Cotton sells but it should really be listed for about $65-80. The same can be said for a majority of their products. But hey, we didn't get into photography to save money!

The Cotton Carrier is great for my consumer level photography to capture interesting happenings in life. I capture protests, rallies, traffic stops, arrests, auto accidents, Bridge Brigades, wildlife, weather events, do 1st amendment audits, etc. After dropping my camera several times causing damage, I needed help. I found out about this product from a photographer. I now use the Cotton Carrier with my new camera and its already saved my camera. I can go hands free when climbing or descending hills, fighting off attackers, holding protest signs, hiking closer to what I'm going to photograph. If I had known about this product before damaging my old camera, I would still be using my old camera.

It takes the weight off the neck which I love! When I’m out birding I’ve got binoculars on a harness and I’m carrying a back pack. It’s nice to have a camera holster! I am even able to have the camera holstered and the monopod attached at the same time with a little creativity. I’m not sure what people are saying about everything pictured not being included. I got everything that was in the picture. I’m feeling like they threw something away.

Belt itself was very good but delivered package did not include the "Sling Tether (independently functional), included as safety backup" that was supposed to be part of the set based on the description.

Excellent product. It's comfortable around the hips and fits well. The additional shoulderstrap is a good failsafe. The attachment for the shoulderstrap to the camera was different to the instruction manual, however I still managed to secure it to my camera and feel safe using it. I have a shoulder injury and cannot handle weight on my shoulder, and this product allows me to take my camera out more often. Overall, I feel my camera is safe and secure and although $100 felt expensive, I am glad that I have this product in my camera gear.

Effective way for carrying optical equipment which allows for rapid access when the situation requires it. Carrying system feels secure but easily deployable.
