can this be used through the EVAP hose?

It goes into the oil so you take off the oil cap and pour in. I drive the minivan for about twenty minutes on the hwy to get my rpms to about 1800. Then get the oil changed

Is this compatible with small diesel engines?

Yes, even rotary engines. If it uses oil like in a gas powered car.....

Will this cause oil leaks on an older truck engine? I have a little leak in the truck right now. just worried it will get worse?

Generally, this is not harmful to the seals in any way, but if there is carbon built up that is slowing down the leak, and this cleans it away, the oil leak could increase.
