PLATINUMEDGE 13 Pieces Impact Bolt & Nut Remover Set

My son completely rounded off three lug nuts on his car in aluminum wheels. We sprayed them with PB Blaster and let them sit for an hour. They were one so tight we had to stand on a two-foot breaker bar. These had no issue and came right off. 1000% recommend this set. A side note you do have to use one that is slightly smaller then what you're trying to take and use a hammer to hammer it on really tight and this thing will grip and take anything off.

I am usually highly skeptical of tools like this bought online, but this one actually did the trick. I was at my whits end to get an oil pan plug off, and this 14mm socket got it off in one shot. I am a casual diy person with my cars, so I’m very happy to have gotten something inexpensive that worked so well.

I needed a 10 mm extractor to remove a smooth rouded bolt this took it out no problem in 3 seconds! Love it love it!

Problem: 17mm 12pt flywheel bolt was rounding. The bolt head is not very thick, so the standard socket easily fell off when trying to loosen, and then round off the bolt. The standard 12-pt socket then didn't want to stay on. Ordered this for overnight delivery. Got it at 8a, and proceeded to try the set. The 17mm socket would not fit the bolt head. It was slightly too small as bolt was not completely rounded, so I had to jam on the next size up. It fit good when I used an impact-grade 1/4" drill adapter and used a 3# sledgehammer to tap on the socket better. I made sure the breaker bar was at 90* and slowly pushed down on the bar until bolt started to move. The socket stayed on even after removing the bolt, so it worked really well for my needs. At this price delivered, beat running to HD or Lowe's or HF for their single sockets. Of note, I gave this 4* as the metal is soft where the teeth can get nicked.

Worked very well on a 17mm rounded off seized up brake caliper bracket mount bolt. Tapped the socket on the bolt head for full engagement and it broke loose with a breaker bar with zero slippage.

These bolt extractors are totally worth it they got a very difficult bolt out when nothing else worked.

Saved me. I was working on a simple oil change on my son's car when the drain plug was completely seized and allowed me to round it even more than the previous person did. I bought a new one and this kit and it yanked it right out, otherwise I would have had to replace the oil pan.

I was trying to remove the oil sump/pan bolt for changing the oil on my engine. I tried everything and rounded the head off completely. I bought the platinumedge, used a rubber mallet to tap it on the head of the bolt. It took one tap on the wrench and it came loose on the first tap with no effort. I threw the away the bolt. I wish I took a photo to upload as proof of the rounded head. I would definitely recommend this product and it value for money compared to the rest of the stuff I was looking at and I am not a mechanic.

This worked beautifully. I had two rounded bolts that had loctite on the. This kit made easy work of both of them.

Worked great. Helped me break the head off the bolt, which worked in my case. Socket still seems to be in good shape.
