NZXT Technologies FZ 200mm White LED Cooling Fan with Sleeved Cable RF-FZ20S-W1

I was a bit skeptical in purchasing these fans because of the immediate 3 star rating that you see for them. But once you further look into the reviews you begin to realize that the reviews are all for compatibility issues which all reside in sizing. For those that are wondering the fans are a true 200mm size meaning they are a bit bigger also their new standard of sizing "154mm" in spacing makes it compatible with Phantom 530, 630, 820,and their future NZXT Cases. If your NZXT case was made before 2013 the fans will not fit properly. With that being said that seems where everyone is having their issues. All it takes is a quick simple read of the PC cases manual to see is the fan fits or not.Now with that being said the fans are nothing short of amazing so far. Currently have 3 of these 200mm fans in my PC rig and everything is running great. ALOT of balanced air flow going through my rig with no loud wind buffering and no weird random noises which some fans get went used to pull out air when they are mounted on the top of the PC chasis. You can tell these fans are built with quality in mind because they are sturdy, quiet, have a SLEEVED 3 pin wire(which many fans dont so +1 there), and are also on sale for $15. Fans work very well and come with all the hardware you need to hook them up. Seem to move a lot of air and the blue LEDs are pretty bright, more so than the blue led fan that came with my case from the factory.These fans will not fit a NZXT Phantom case as the hole spacing is not correct (neither the door or top spots). The fans needed are supposed to have 193mm spacing for the holes (still 200mm fan), but I wasn't able to find them. I knew this all before I ordered them so that's no issue.I ordered these and drilled 4 new holes to mount them properly. With a little time and patience it worked out just fine. The plugs go straight into the stock harness/ fan control for this case with no additional adapters needed.

I ordered these fans for an NZXT Phantom tower. So I figured that NZXT fans will fit an NZXT tower without any problem. Only issue was that the holes to mount the fans was about a 1/2 inch off from what the fan size actually was. Tower specified that it was set for 200mm fans on both the side panel and top. That is where I put these, after shaving down some of the fan and cutting new holes, the fans fit good. They are extremely quiet. I actually had to check a few times to make sure they were running since there was barely a humming sound coming from them. But they are very efficient and VERY VERY quiet. If it wasn't for the issue with getting them to fit, then it would easily be a 5-star rating.I would definitely recommend these. Just make sure you have a little more space than you think you need in case you have issues with the fit.

This does NOT fit in an NZXT Phantom case. NZXT uses a stupid, non-standard size for the 200 mm fans in this case, and they no longer manufacture these fans, so if you're trying to add 200 mm fans to a Phantom case then you're pretty much SOL. I guess that's my fault for not reading the reviews and assuming that when NZXT says "this is where a 200 mm fan goes," they mean that a 200 mm fan can fit there, especially if it's made by NZXT.However, I'm reviewing the fan, not the case, and as a fan it works very well. With some effort, I managed to shove one of the fans into the empty top 200 mm fan space. Only one of the screw holes lined up, but that's pretty much all you need since it's mostly held in place by the fact that it's too big for the space that it is occupying. As for the side door 200 mm fan, I managed to get this to fit by using a soldering iron to melt additional holes next the the existing mounting holes. However, keep in mind that if you're using a large CPU cooler (like the be quiet! dark rock pro 3), there isn't enough room for this fan anyway, so save yourself the trouble. So if you really want these fans to go into a Phantom, it is possible, just don't expect it to be easy.

Bought these for my nzxt phantom tower. None of the mounts lined up. On the top of the tower there was a rail that the fans snapped into, so it seemed to work well without skrewing the top ones in. The side one didn't fit because of my watercooler so that ones on me. But you'd think nzxt would size the fans to their own towers. But I was able to make them work. Look great, and are quiet. Just expect to modify a bit. Also nzxt would be better off if they gave some suggestions for hooking up the leds. These fans have 2 cables on each. One for the leds and one for fan control. My phantom tower had only one slot to plug the led into. Had to rig this up aswell to control them all.

Complete S***! Doesn't work with my NZXT Phantom Case in EITHER 200mm slot. The holes do not align at all and cannot be used. Is it too much to ask for a company to support their own products? If you have the Phantom Full size tower, don't waste your money on any 200mm fans. None of them fit the holes on the case. Total waste of money.I know it's very hard to tell from the picture but no matter how I turned the fan, it would not align with the screw holes. The back fan is the stock fan for the case which was included and pre-installed.I tried using this fan in the top 200mm fan slot and the side 200/230mm fan slot and neither places would this fan fit. I had my doubts so I only purchased one and I'm glad I didn't waste my money on a second.

Bonitos para la vista y bastante buenos

Wish I would have seen this fan before I bought the cooler master versions in this size.This fan really pushes air and haze a nice clear look to the blades which gives the LED's a really nice glow

Meiner Meinung nach der Beste und vorallem Leiseste 200mm Lüfter den man momentan kaufen kann. Er ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und sieht super aus. Bezüglich der Maße muss ich anmerken das die hier angegebenen Maße falsch sind. Der Lüfter ist nicht 200×200×35mm groß sondern 200×200×30mm. Das gilt für alle Lüfter in allen Farben dieser Baureihe.Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Color looks great and sound isn't noticeably louder than my other fans. Fit was a bit wonky but I think that says more about my thermaltake case rather than the fan.

El abanico es de buena calidad, la velocidad es bastante buena, mas sin embargo no cuanta con la luz de led que tiene en la descripcion del titulo, el recubrimiento del cable esta exelente, un problema que no puedo asegurar si es del abanico como tal o del case es que los agujeros para los tornillos no coincidian a pesar de que el case es de la misma marca y el es el modelo del abanico que se indicaba. fuera de un montaje chicano (con pegamento y tornillo busca rosca) el abanico trabaja exelente
