Farberware EdgeKeeper Chef's Knife, 8-inch, Black

This is the best knife I’ve ever owned! I wish I had this years ago! It’s so sharp, easy to handle and is the perfect size! It cuts right through vegetables! It’s so sharp that it cut the top of my finger while barely laying again it and it comes with a sharpener that is so easy to use. I highly recommend this chef’s knife! I previously purchased an 8” which is too large for cutting veggies, but it will be great for cutting up meat.

I'm no knife expert. I just know when a knife fits my hand, is sharp enough to cut with safely, and strong enough to stay straight so I can cut a straight line. This knife does all 3. It's a good all around kitchen knife for me.

I like the price for a knife with a cover. I have to remember to hand-wash it and dry it before putting it back in it's cover. It's not super-sharp or has dulled a little over the past year. If I could afford to, I would probably buy a better quality and sharper knife.

My intended use was for camping. The knife comes with a holster, I also like the facts that it is not too thick (which makes cutting easers), nevertheless, it feels sturdy and of a high quality despite it is quite light, which is good for camping. Also it was important for me that the curvature of the knife is such that I can slice with the tip anchoring on the c/board. To me the knife is as good as the 8" one, and convenient during camping. The built in sharpener is good too (though at this time I am neutral to its value). Overall I like it.

Fabulous choice for your one cooking knife when on the go mobile. High quality. Actually does have a single rivet in the back which is plastic. I think that farberware has really got a winner in this line of knives and this is the highlight knife right here this size in particular. The cases really great. Congratulations guys!

Super buy. Cheap and reliable.

Just finished cutting meat after the knife was delivered 😁. It's very different from the knives we have and i really love how it's easy to cut meat. I'm sure there are better knives out there. However, for someone who have only used local made knives, it's a very different experience.

This is my kitchen go-to knife for preparing breakfast, cutting easily through fruits, breads etc. Like the self-sharpen cover!

Excelente cuchillo, trae muy buen filo y el estuche protector es perfecto, me gusta la opción que trae de auto afilar el cuchillo al desenvainar, de hecho me sirve para afilar otros cuchillos de dimensiones similares.
