Great little front USB 2.0 (2 ports) and HD audio front panel replacement.
I was upgrading an older PC chassis that required the removal of a 3.5" floppy drive, and as no one knew where the old face plate might be hiding, putting something in it's place seemed like a good cheat. Also the existing front USB/Audio were at the bottom/front of the PC in a hard to reach place, so were never used anyhow. This device covers all the requirements.- Fits in a 3.5" bay (but only lines up with two screw holes in total)- Front HD audio (input/output) and two front USB 2.0 portsIt also has a standard 4 pin Molex connector for "extra power", but this wasn't needed so just ignored it.Internal cable length was more than adequate (hooray for black zip ties!) so just a matter of plugging in the two connections and screwing it into place (plus the zip ties, of course). Tested out ok, so removed the useless original front usb/audio from the bottom of the PC and called it a day. There is another system I know of with "questionable" front USB/Audio installed on the TOP of the chassis, where they always store stuff and so the ports are never used or even seen. May purchase another one of these to bypass the existing ports and add a little more use to that system.

This fit nicely in the extra CD player slot in the front ...
Very well constructed. Quality throughout. Needed this for a new Dell XPS8900 desktop computer after I added a sound card, and the cheapos at Dell made their audio plug wire harness too short to reach the audio connector on the sound card from the ports and audio connections on the top of the computer! This fit nicely in the extra CD player slot in the front (although this device it is for a 3.5" slot, Dell does not provide one unless you want to saw a hole in the front cover.) But it has perfect length cables and all is well now. Again, I admired the quality of construction, particularly the metal frame. First class. Also, again, it is supposed to go into a 3.5" (external) bay, which are rare on today's computers, but there are probably adapters out there for the 5" bay's. I just screwed it into the side of the existing 5" bay and it is fine, due to it's solid construction. Also swapped the two USB ports from the top of the computer to this device as the connectors seem better quality, and besides, I set my beer on the top of the computer in front of those ports.

Great solution for a broken headphone jack
The front headphone jack broke on my case. This was a cheap easy solution. My case didn't have good rails for this. I used some 2.5 to 3.5 rails to attache it. I then used several pieces of 3M double sided tape to help hold it in place. The USB ports were a bonus for me. They work as expected. I have not tried the microphone.

A great deal. It came with everything I needed to ...
This was one of those, "We need it yesterday," buys. A great deal. It came with everything I needed to install it (save for a screw driver).

It works
No problems installing, came with screws, all ports tested working, and devices can be charged from the usb ports.
