Best chemotherapy gloves for staying cold a long time.
I bought these gloves to wear during chemotherapy to prevent neuropathy. I freeze them the night before, and take them to my chemo appointment packed between frozen gel packs in a plastic picnic cooler. They stay very cold for 45-60 minutes and fairly cold for another 30-40 minutes. I can put one on just fine by myself, but the chemo nurse helps me secure the second one with the velcro band around my wrist because you don’t have much hand mobility once the glove is on. You won’t be able to turn pages in a book or use your phone once both gloves are on. However, that’s a small sacrifice to prevent neuropathy. The lining in the gloves is very soft and provides enough barrier that there’s no sensation of frostbite which could be a problem with other gloves if you have to use dry ice. I only wish Silenflow made a cold therapy sock because these gloves stay cold much longer than my therapy socks.

Chemotherapy Use
I've only had the opportunity to use this product for one chemotherapy treatment at this time, but I am happy with the results. The gloves were very easy to freeze, and remained cold through the therapy session. The medical staff is encouraged that this product will will deter neuropathy during the course of my treatment,

Good, versatile therapy gloves
I purchased these gloves because of severe post stroke pain in my right hand. The gloves seem to work well both for heat and cold, although I would give a slight edge to the cold use only because the cold seems to hold for a longer period of time before it needs to be "re-cooled" again. On the other hand, it only takes 20-40 seconds (for me) in the microwave to reheat a glove to get needed warmth again. One note of caution: when heating a glove in the microwave, I found the exterior of the glove will appear warmer to the touch than the interior, so in order to get the degree of warmth you want on the inside, I found I had to increase the number of seconds microwaved, which made the exterior quite hot, in order to get the desired temperature on the inside for my hand. One major advantage for these gloves is if you, like me, only need a glove for one hand, you don't end up with one glove being useless. Because they are mitten shaped, you just have to flip the other glove (mitten) over and your hand will fit just the same way as the intended glove. So in effect, you get 2 gloves that will fit either hand. Having not had the gloves for very long, I can't speak for how long they will hold up, but they do appear to be well made with well stitched seams. Overall, a good purchase which does what I needed it for.

Good for chemotherapy
I used these for my chemo sessions (to help prevent neuropathy). They don’t stay cold for very long once out of the freezer. I bring them in a soft pack cooler with additional ice packs. Then I keep my hands in the gloves within the cooler (on my lap). Stayed nice and cold that way.

Eh! 😕
The gloves would be perfect but they didn't last long. I used them as cold therapy gloves while on chemorheraphy and they only stayed cold for abt 35 mins every time.VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!

Great for chemotherapy
I purchased these when I had to undergo a harsh chemo to prevent Peripheral Neuropathy. So far, I have no tingling or numbness in my fingers at all, I believe this glove really works!! I did some researched and found some of the gloves are too cold and pretty firm when cold. These gloves have soft liner, so it’s not super cold or uncomfortably hard to wear. And the best part is, they stay cold for a very long time. I would say about an hour and quite cool for another hour. I just freeze them the night before and take them with me in a cooler bag. Very easy and comfortable. Highly recommend this especially for chemo treatments!

Being Cold
The item is alright. It is not enough cold for me inside the gloves. But for the price, it is worth it.

Problems with the seams
The gloves are ok but the seams on mine were very sloppily sewn. At one point near the top of the gloves, the seams weren’t even seamed together. For the price point, you would think there would be better quality control.
