Firstly, I had searched for magnetic stacking stones and these are not magnetic; completely my fault for not double checking but they popped up on Amazon's algorithm, so just a warning for anyone else who might make the same mistake. The presentation box is about 6 inches by 4 inches, so it's fine as a small present but isn't hugely impressive or exciting if that's what you're aiming at. The stones literally sit on top of each other and it makes an interesting variation to cubed blocks, but it is too fiddly for a 1 year old to build. Older children enjoyed pretending they were gemstones. Overall fine for what they are but probably won't be buying again.

I used these stones for writing phonics sounds on for my 5 year old who is home educated. She really loves stacking them in a game we play.However i am disappointed that some have cracking on BEFORE any have been played with.

Really cute gift - the smallest blocks are really small - I’d worry for a toddler.But other than that great!!!

I had to clean them because they had mould on them. Some of the paint was already off a little because a part of the wood was not smooth. They are lovely and I would still recommend them but quality checks are needed for sure.

My kid is obsessed with stones so I thought these would be a hit but they haven't been that interested in them. However the colours are nice and they seem durable

There are really good quality and come in fairly simple but nice packaging. However, I wish they would stack in multiple ways, as vertical appears to be one of the few options.... I thought it would be more like actual stacking stones, and a bit of a balancing act would be involved.... However, they are not weighted to stand in any orientation other than upright (hope that makes sense). They are a nice little gift though...
