Friend bought a new house and temporarily had his mom stay with them while she is looking for new place.They were all really concerned about charging their Tesla and asked me to have a look at their main panel and suggest options.I found a welding outlet and was excited to find this adapter to solve all their problems.$40 adapter and I'm the hero: no wiring/electrician needed that the standard 220v Tesla plug for at home/road charging plugs into the welding outlet.Bonus point to the sellers for having a good product at a fair price, great description and good photos.Happy EV driving!

This did the job for me. I used a multimeter and the neutral is a dead post in the adapter. For my use, the circuit goes straight to the box so it's a non-issue. But make sure you know your wiring.
