Easier and faster grind. Great value!
The bearings make it easier and faster to grind than my old hand grinder did. I'm actually glad my old one broke so i could find this one and suffer less arthritis pain :)

Great travel grinder for the money, but not a good daily driver
Pros:✔️ Very travel-friendly: Weighs 10 oz (incl. handle) and fits in a 6x3¾x2" box 🎉✔️ Proper conical steel burr is infinitely better than any ceramic burr or blade grinder✔️ 38 mm, non-aggressive burr makes grinding effortless (at the expense of time)✔️ Attractive considering it's all plastic—even the printed wood grain looks pleasantCons:❌ Insane retention: Grounds cling like crazy to the plastic body and catch cup. Be sure to sprinkle a few drops of water on your beans prior to grinding, lest you end up with 20% of your output (not exaggerating) stuck to the grinder—and I don't just mean the catch cup, but everywhere: Tons of chaff in the upper chamber, a massive ring of grounds around the adjustment wheel, and a thick layer of grounds all around the inside of the catch cup. Without the water trick, the Hero S01 retains 2-4x as much as a 1Zpresso K-PLUS and infinitely more than a Kinu M47.❌ Off-center: When adjusted down to near-zero, there's uneven rubbing of the burrs.❌ The adjustment steps are quite large so, while the grinder can reach espresso fineness, it may be tricky to get the grind just right unless you're using a pressurized portafilter.❌ The handle/lid grips the axle a little too well and can be difficult to pull back out.❌ The knob on the handle has lots of vertical play and is quite squeaky, making the whole experience feel cheap. It's also ridiculously small—I found myself holding it between fingertips because I couldn't quite wrap my hand around it. 😂Overall:👉🏻 Great value: What Hero has managed to put together at this price is quite a feat👉🏻 While not good enough to replace my daily driver at home, this will be my new travel grinder👉🏻 Also great for beginners and as a gift to someone you're trying to get into coffee 😏👉🏻 Gets the job done if you can look past the compromisesFinally, ignore the "propeller" gimmick—it only stirs the topmost layer of beans and becomes useless after a few seconds of grinding.

Excellent manual grinder; grinds much faster than standard manual grinders
Grinds very well and quickly for a manual grinder. Takes about 100 rotations to fully grind two 1/8 cup scoops, about 70-75 turns for an Aeropress size scoop.

Brilliant, I LOVE It.
This is the best coffee grinder I've ever used. The central mechanism is nice heavy steel and it works incredibly well, far better than any ceramic burr grinder I've ever tried. The housing is plastic, to cut down on weight, and I appreciate that. The lid goes on and off easily. The handle is incredibly easy to turn. The settings are easy to change and the coffee comes out perfect every time. It has a little propeller looking thing to keep the coffee beans from flying up, and the lid is clear, so you get to watch the little propeller spin around when you grind coffee. That my not appeal to everyone but I'm basically a giant child so I love it. There is only one issue. You don't really have enough room to do an entire second grinding into the too-small container at the bottom. They should have made the little container about an inch taller. I grind a lot of coffee and I end up having to dump it over and over, which means the little screw-on base container will become loose over time, from overuse. I'd actually make it two inches taller, given the choice, but I love this coffee grinder anyway, even having to empty it too often. I absolutely adore it. It's so easy to use and takes no time at all. The best ceramic burr grinder I ever tried took about four times longer than this. This is the one to get. I love it so much, that I rather routinely thank God for it while I'm grinding my coffee. My wrist and my arm never hurt anymore, from grinding the coffee. Good luck in your search.

Works
The steel heads seem pretty well made, substantial enough and likely to last. The entire thing feels reasonably solid and unlikely to fall apart. The wooden handle end is a nice touch that feels good in the hand when grinding. The propeller thing that looks cool in the pictures does absolutely nothing and is of no use.The grind size setting at the bottom of the grinder is annoying to use because it doesn't have hard stops at the top and bottom end of the range. When I first set it up, I wanted to make espresso so I set it for what I thought was the finest setting, only to find that I had essentially shut the thing entirely so no ground coffee ended up in the little cup. I ground and ground and never got anywhere. Eventually I figured out that there are probably 30-40 different possible settings even though the markings suggest only about 10. And it is very difficult to tell where you actually are in that range. You know one way is coarser and one way is finer, but you just have to experiment until you find the right grind. However, I did eventually find the correct grind setting after some extended fiddling. Once I did, I was very pleased with the results, the coffee seemed pretty evenly ground and I had no issues pulling a good shot from the ground coffee it produced, and it is large enough to make a proper shot that fills a regular portafilter.I didn't have issues washing it, and the grinder didn't rust when exposed to water so it does genuinely appear to be stainless steel.Could you use this every day? Probably. It looks likely to hold up if you expect to use it a lot.I rarely make coffee with a french press, so I didn't try to test that. Once I found the right setting for espresso I didn't want to mess with the grind settings again. I assume it will get coarse enough, but this is very much a thing where you figure out where it is making the correct grind and then leave it alone, I would not buy this if I was regularly going to be changing the grind settings dramatically. I think it will be fine to tweak it slightly with different beans for espresso but I would not want to be using it for both french press and espresso regularly.Could you travel with this? Yes. But I think it sits more towards "I'm more durable and less likely to break" vs. "I am the smallest, lightest grinder in the world". I suspect you could find something a bit lighter, which might not be quite as chunky and durable as this one will likely be.Overall, for the price, it is fine. It is ideal as a basic backup grinder for when the power goes out, etc.

Great affordable coffee grinder for small quantities
I've been using this hand grinder for about a year now and have no complaints about it. It still looks the same as the first time I've used it. Yes it has a plastic body, but it is high density plastic and feels very robust. I really don't think that an aluminum body would feel any better. It is easy to take apart to clean. It is much quieter than most electric grinders, which allows me to prepare a cup of coffee in the early morning without waking the entire household. The size is great with a canister large enough to grind enough coffee for two cups when I fill be bean chamber. The only issue I've had with it is that it did not come with a cleaning brush.

Un excelente molino
Cumple bastante bien.

all plastic construction, decent steel burr grinder for the price
Decent enough, I hope it doesn't fall to pieces with the all plastic construction. I ordered the brown one and received the black one.
