WaterfordCrystal Egg Collectible, Set of 3

These crystal eggs are way too expensive. They carry the 'Waterford' name, but these are not the Waterford quality of the old when their crystal was made in Ireland. Since Waterford shuttered its doors in Ireland more than a decade ago, its pieces have been made in various eastern European countries which to be sure have their own decent crystal making traditions, but the quality is markedly different (and lower) than the old Irish made products. As long as you are aware that you are not getting the original Waterford quality, you may be satisfied with these 'new' Waterford crystals. But as I said at the outset, these pieces are too overpriced. They are not that good, but they are being sold at rather high prices simply because they carry the name Waterford.
