Unique
It's a little funky because of the style and size, but it is perfect for my use with an IPad.

Works like a mouse, but won't replace a pencil/stylus
I got this because of the promise of turning an iPad Pro into more of a laptop. It works like that to some degree, but if you're buying an iPad Pro to use *solely* as a laptop . . . just buy a laptop instead. What this is to me is a way of using the iPad Pro *like* a laptop at times. Mostly for convenience because I have a laptop, but carrying a laptop and a tablet at the same time isn't always practical.First, this is very light and small. It is almost too small for my huge hands. It's less of a mouse for your hand and more of a "finger mouse". Unless you have really tiny hands, you'll only need your fingertips and one knuckle to use it.That being said, the smaller size is going to take some getting used to. It has a pretty steep learning curve, but like anything useful, it should be worth learning if all of its claims are to be believed. It is easy to pair as long as you read the instructions. It's light, rechargeable, and has its own little protective storage container, and it's small enough to easily fit in a purse or briefcase without much trouble.Rotating it at an angle to get a side scroll will take more practice for me. I can get it to work, but I haven't developed the muscle-memory in order for it to be efficient yet. I guess it depends on the app that you're using, though. For its touted uses to access/use a remote PC, I've only used the standard MS built-in RDP Client briefly enough to know that it's not as easy to use as a laptop, but it should work. Mainly I need to learn how to use it. There are a lot of gestures that each do different things at the remote and it's not like using a mouse. I discovered that there are apparently much better apps for remote access, but it appears that the better ones are paid and at least one of them is a subscription.Pros: - Very light - Very small - Protective (hard) carrying case with inner foam - Rechargeable and recharges to full quickly - Works with all iPad Pro apps (at least the ones I've tried, but the description says "all") - Does a few things that are harder to do with a pencil or finger on the iPad Pro - Has a nice assortment of supported apps to remotely access a PC/MacCons: - A bit too tiny if you have large hands/fingers (tiny buttons close together) - Steep learning curve to master the movements - Doesn't always do what you might expect (lack of intuitiveness) - Some of the apps for remote PC usage are quite pricey, but some are freeOverall, this should be a nice complement to an iPad Pro for certain types of apps and uses. It's priced for the usual Apple Users at $99, so nothing shocking there. It's not going to replace the Apple Pencil for drawing and CAD purposes, but it might just be better than trying to control a PC with the Apple Pencil and a remote app.

Useful, not a must have, but definitely a glad to have.
I recently switched using my iPad Pro from a small leather case to a solid sturdy case with a built in keyboard. You can swivel it around if you want to use it like an iPad and use your stylus. When it's in the case it's a bit awkward to stop typing only to life up and touch the screen, or grab your stylus, move what you need, then go back to the keyboard. Honestly a touchpad in the case would help, but as that's not something I have, I jumped at the chance to try this out.The premise of this device is a mouse you can use with your iPad, use the cursor like you would a mouse on your computer. This sounded PERFECT for my needs, it solved a real pain point and provided an elegant solution to resolve it.The mouse is easy to travel with, it comes in a travel case that has all you need in the same size case you would typically have earbuds in.Doesn't take long to charge, I use it quite a bit when using my iPad as a computer. I enjoy using my ipad like this, and now with this mouse it has become a reality. It's a very solid add-on for your iPad that brings a lot of joy, especially once you get used to the gestures. I think of it more like a pointer that helps me click through windows, change words when typing and navigating the web as well as switching between apps. I've used it to remotely connect to my computer which worked perfectly and so much better than using my fingers, and as the iPad is stationary in the case it's so much easier to just use this little mouse. The gestures and shortcuts just help to make you quicker once you get used to using it.I love how little space it takes up, it's really brought joy to my life, so much so I picked up another one for my daughter for Christmas this year (can't wait to see how she takes to it).I haven't tried using it in gaming or anything like that.Bottom LineRecommended if you have the need for it. Having my iPad in a case that makes it more like a computer you start to realize the more you use it like that how much more limiting the platform is, this little device backs down those cons and gives you a way to manage and get more use and power out of your iPad.Can't believe it took so long for this to come out, but so glad did. The device is a bit small and does take a bit of practice to get used to and get comfortable, after a couple weeks it's no longer an issue and more so a joy to use when needed. If you have the need then this is the solution. Highly Recommended! If you're using your iPad on the bed to browse the web, or just as an alternative navigational method I think the use is much less useful, but if you tend to do PC type things on your iPad then I think you'll really appreciate having this in your bag! (If you're a normal person who uses their iPad to read, browse the web, check social media, watch YouTube, play games, the device will likely go unused as it's too awkward for that type setup, but when my iPad is in keyboard mode and I'm typing and doing real work, it's so amazing to have this and really helps speed me up. I can't imagine not having it.)

Handy, portable, and good for travel
This padpoint mouse is a versatile addition to my IT gear. It works well with my Windows 10 laptop. I have not tried it with an Apple or Android device yet, but I am satisfied with how long it holds charge and the ease of use. It has an ergonomic feel to it that doesn't add to the strain on my wrists from all day use.

I was able to get the mouse to work on my iPad Air 2
I was able to find the driver on the apple app store. Search for Swiftpoint. When it runs, it tells you that it is waiting for the mouse to be paired. Make sure that the mouse is charged. Then go to settings > bluetooth to display the devices available for pairing. Then hold down the gray button and slide the switch all the way over to the on position. Release the gray button before 5 seconds or it may go to link through an optional 2.4 GHz dongle which you don’t have. Going back to the application, it found the mouse and wanted to update the firmware and not to turn it off. So it is a good thing that the mouse had a good charge on it before I started. After that, you can go to the settings and adjust how responsive you want your mouse to be and how fast the scroll wheel will respond. The mouse did work on my iPad, though the cursor was a farly large round dot, it was able to do all the normal mouse things. So I am happy with this addition to my iPad. The PadPoint comes with a little dongle like magnetic charging adapter. It doesn’t take up much room in the case and the magnet is powerful enough that it will hold up the mouse on a vertical USB connector. This is small enough to travel and should be able to go with me as needed.

Very disappointed with the mouse. It would not connect to my IPAD Pro

As with many ergonomic innovations - better try it... The connection is not stable
I really wanted to like this mini mouse, it is such a great idea. However I cannot really get used to the placement of mouse buttons, the way to scroll. Also the connectivity to laptop is not really great - sometimes it works, sometimes not. The battery life is very poor and the on/off button is really hard to operate. All in all, I am going to keep it for light travel as I cannot stand working with trackpad, but outside of that use case I am probably not going to use it much.
