SO WORTH IT
This was the best possible purchase I could have made for my anatomy class. Being able to study with them at home made a huge difference. Very accurate and detailed. So incredibly worth buying to really spend time with the bones and understand them outside of lab or a textbook.

Used to pass Anatomy and Physiology (College Level)
I purchased this to help my son pass his anatomy and physiology course (prerequisite for nursing school). The detail on the bones was good enough that he could identify all the needed parts of the individual bones. The skull was very detailed. He used it for identification drills on all of the formen, canals, sutures, regions, an processes. The skull splits in half so you can identify the features from the inside as well as the outside. While you can do an A&P course without a skeleton, he definitely did better because of it. Iw was invaluable to be able to practice identification drills at home. For the cost, it is definitely worth having the study aid!! I completely recommend this if you're studying a college level anatomy and physiology course.

Perfect for learning
My daughter wanted this to help her memorize each bone in the body. She will also use this in classes as she pursues her degree. Very accurate bones.

Ribs don’t seem correct.
When you try to line up the costal cartilage with the ribs the first several ribs seem to point superior (upwards) rather than towards the posterior (back) as they should. Also I have two right 9th ribs and no right 10th rib. Also I don’t understand why they put the vertebrae on a string with the ends tied, so that u can’t see entire vertebral column because half of it is curved around in this circular shape. Same thing with the intervertebral disks. Would have much preferred the put the disks in between vertebrae and let you disassemble it if u want. But the way it is now there’s no way to keep everything together and see how things articulate without cutting the string and then getting a new longer string with enough excess so that the excess is equally as long as the vertebral column. Also the bones of the disarticulatwd foot seem much thicker than the bones of the articulated foot. I was expecting more out of this, but I guess I’ll just return it in a week once I’ve learned what I can from it. Can’t really give this my full recommendation, but I guess you get what you pay for…
