You know what, these fit my weatherby vanguard compact perfectly and they are solid as a rock. Coming in at a quarter of the cost of the other junk Cabelas and Scheels wanted to sell me stuff at. 100% recommend this.

Perfect Fit for Model 700
I needed to upgrade the mounting brackets on my Remington Model 700 to support a larger scope in preparation for an antelope hunt later this year. This product worked perfectly, it lined right up and made mounting the new rings a breeze.

Does the job - check your eye relief
The bases are inexpensive and easy to install. The only issue I had was due to the eye relief on the scope I installed being shorter (only 3.1-3.4 inches). The bases have only a single cut channel to receive the ring mounting screw, so they limit where the rings can be mounted to a single position. If my scope has a longer eye relief, say 3.5-4.0, I probably would have been fine. But, I ended up having to replace these with a one piece picatinny base so I could position the rings to get the scope further back. Not the bases fault, so still rating product high.

Perfect Fit
I always prefer the two-piece mount to the one-piece because the first leaves enough room to load the rifle. This mount perfectly fits the screw holes on my Remington. The fact that it is inexpensive doesn't mean anything because the weaver style is very secure regardless of the type of metal the base is made of.

Easy install doesn’t come loose
Put these on my rem-700 in .308 and they were super easy to install. I used a little bit of blue locktite and they don’t seem like they have come loose at. There’s really only one position for scope rings to mount because of the little cut outs or else the scope rings don’t fit right but it worked for me.

Worked good had to drill a pocket in them, because my r*fle is old and gunsmiths had different hardware back then I guess got them on and hold good glad I bought this over the one piece, doesn’t make the g*n look tacky
