Great for cooking fatter pieces of meat.
I pressure cook first, then crisp with this lid, flipping the chicken legs or other fatty piece of meat so all sides get crisped. Turns out awesome every time. I also tried sweet potato fries with this, I stirred it up twice and still ended up with a mix of undercooked and overdried fries. Might work better if the amount of fries is very small and spread out. The product does circulate air, but is still like an oven with bottom heating element missing. For this reason, it works very well for crisping food that's already cooked, but otherwise it may cook unevenly and make it harder to get the desired results. To sum it up, if you're looking for an addition to your Instant Pot or pressure cooker so you can add your (cooked) food some crisp without hassle, go ahead and buy it - it's great! But if you're trying to get rid of your oven or make French fries without deep frying, there's a bit of a learning curve and you may or may not be happy with the results.

I'm very happy with my purchase
This air fryer lid is perfect for my best friend Instant Pot.I choose it because #1 it has clear lid,so I can see food through it and #2 its a space savior(I don't have much room in my kitchen for air fryer). Its very easy to operate, comes with extras and recepie book.It heats up pretty quckly and I never had a problem with burning food. You can control the temperature and pick one of the 8th modes.I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great addition to my Instant Pot
I'm very late to the air fryer party. Recently I've wanted to give it a try but don't have the room for another appliance on my counter. When the air fryer lids started making the rounds I decided to get one finally. I got this one since it seemed less bulky than the actual Instant brand. I am more than pleased with it. You can see your food while it cooks and it does a great job. I've used it many times since I got it. Bacon, fried chicken, pizza, hot dogs, salmon, and much more. It's pretty perfect for one person. It inludes a nice little recipe book, the basket and tongs. I think at some point I will invest in a larger air fryer for when I want to do more, and it will replace my toaster oven. But for now, this is a definite keeper. The only flaw, the default time setting is 30 minutes, and most items take 10 or 15 at most. I wish the default was maybe 10 minutes. Other than that it's great. I might suggest a silicone air fryer pot, and/or the silicone mat instead of parchment. The basket is not non stick and if you're doing veggies they may get stuck. I use a brush to clean it. Just got the silicone pot and it's awesome. Definitely recommend.

Great addition to my kitchen
I baught a kaloric airfryer second hand but never used for $20. I like air frying food but the nonstick coating on it started to blister and flake off with thE very first use.I now have this air fryer lid for my instant pot and am much happier. For one, I can see the food cooking through the glass lid. My instant pot has a stainless steel inner pot so no more flaking chips of non stick coating in my food. My instant pot is big enough to cook a whole chicken whereas the air fryer I bought could never do that. I can also use the trivet and basket to arrange two layers of chicken thighs so I can cook six at a time instead of three. So I’m much happier with this appliance. My second hand air fryer will be offered up on freecycle.

works well but the batches are small, beeps are loud
I have an 8-QT instant pot, which this fit well, but the basket that comes with it is made to fit a 6-QT, so I have empty space that I stare at longingly, wishing I could fit 2-3 more wings in that empty space. I am in the process of purchasing a larger plate on which to sit more wings and re-try this device. I currently only fit 8 wings at a time, and that is pushing it, as they should really have more space between them.Besides that, this device fit and works as advertised, I can confirm this for the 8-QT IP (I noticed very few reviews for this larger size). The only other minor complaint is that the beeps are a little loud. Really don't need that kind of dB to tell me my stuff is done, the delicious smell usually leads me back to the unit in time, if I even left the unit in the first place, since staring thru the glass is so mesmerizing. Also I dont use any buttons except the temp and timer. I guess they are pre-sets. Never understood the point of those on this or the IP.

Great idea for instapots!
I love the idea that you don't have to purchase an entirely separate piece of equipment to crisp and another to dehydrate. Love the versatility to do all with one. Brilliant. I received the product quickly. Works well with my 6 quart instant pot. The "loads" you can do are small. Know this in advance and you won't be disappointed. I would rather do two batches and have them turn out quickly and deliciously than to have multiple, huge appliances that I need to figure out where to store. Works as expected.

Excellent addition to Insta pot!
Amazing addition to her Insta it allows us to air fry with minimal clean up and make very healthy foods. We have used it to make fish, shrimp, chicken, french fries, and all of them turned out excellent. Easy to follow recipes from other air fryer cookbook‘s. Very simple to use and requires very little cleanup. I highly recommend this product!

Eh
Useful for a few things but overall, I'll stick to my oven/broiler.I regularly cook at high temperature in my oven, so nothing about this is mind blowing. But people are so enthusiastic about air fryers I figured I would give it a try. I don't have a lot of counter space but I do already own a 8qt instant pot. This item seemed like a good compromise. The item works perfectly fine but if you are comparing this to another style of air fryer, then be aware, this will require significantly more cleaning than an oven style.I compared chicken nuggets using this vs. using my oven. It was not any faster than my oven and the oven made the nuggets crispier but I think that was because I could space them out more. One area where this was better than the oven was making chicken drumsticks. The inside cooks faster due to the convection element.
