The Divorced Dad's Survival Book: How to Stay Connected with Your Kids

This book was amazing and I really wish I read it a year ago. It goes into why you are feeling certain things, societal pressures, and how to deal with it. I like how the author does not tell you how to parent but explains the situation in a very relate-able way and ways to overcome the issues. I would definitely recommend!This book is a bit dated at this point but 98% of it is still relevant, one part I would just like to add is the introduction of video chat (like Skype). It has really allowed me to be a part of my daughters life as a parent that is involved in day to day life.

Enjoyed this book (as much as one can enjoy the topic or the process). There's nothing earth shattering in it but it reminds us many have gone before us. It helps teach us to accept the now and keep hope for the future, all in a manner that is enjoyable and educational.

My student used this for a school report and plans to keep it because he liked it so much.

This book puts lots of things in perspective and provides clean and clear recomendations for dealing with the situation.

This is a must-read for any father enduring the divorce process. Find the time to read it for yourself...and your children. There will be portions that you do not like, but there are others that you need to know. It will prevent many mistakes as you enter the family court circus.
