it's candy - i gave it out for Halloween. .... ok.. i ate the whole darn box - don't judge me. this is pretty much my review for all candy. yummm.. i really did give it out for Halloween and the kids in the neighborhood seemed happy about getting full sized candy bars over those little nubs . You were a kid once - be the cool people and get big bars.. it does set you back about $50 or so for 2 boxes, but if you can - buy big bars .. something you like too.. nothing worse than getting stuck with candy you don't like. I learned that in the great Pez incident of 2003..

As of today June 2, 2020, there are no more real Hershey bars left on Amazon. I got some of these and they are terrible. Mushy, almost liquid at room temperature of 78 degrees. Messy to eat and so much sugar that hasn't even been dissolved, giving it a grainy texture. I tried to repeat an order made weeks ago from a legit seller and Amazon routed my order straight back to this place which had delivered crap yesterday. I can't even place an order from the other sellers using the links from my previous orders because Amazon's servers route me right back here.

I bought a box of these as a quick way to get a bunch of Hershey's bars for my daughter's Valentines Day gifts...I'll tell you, if you want to make your kid popular, have her hand out full sized candy bars.Anyway, this is, as I said, a quick and easy way to get a bulk supply of Hershey's bars. The "bonus bar" is a bit of a gimmick, but one I'll gladly accept. The bars are well packed, and I had no breakage or other issues in the box I received. The bars were current as well (meaning I didn't get ten year old candy). And since I had a "bonus bar" I ate it in the interests of testing the product for a complete review. It's, well, Hershey's. Yeah, it's not on a par with the gourmet Belgian chocolate stuff, but then it isn't trying to be. As a good quality, crowd pleasing, textbook milk chocolate bar, it does a very good job...tasty, not too sweet but not too bitter either. A good balance.So if you're needing to get a bunch of candy bars (I'm buying another box to sell at my Cub Scout Pack's concession stand) then this is a good way to do it. Good quality bars in a neat, merchandising-ready box. A good product.

Look at my reviews. I am never negative however this was simply the Very Worst purchase I have ever made from Amazon. I do not know if the chocolate was left in a 130 degree warehouse or if it simple sat in a warehouse for 25 years it was horrible. Very hard and chalky white with no flavor. My emails fell on deaf ears and I have never heard a word to this day. You are better off to buy your chocolate from a gas station than waste your money here.

Ordered this in the summer and it came refrigerated to keep from melting; this time (November) they came with refrigeration but all was fine. I place a few in the freezer, a few in the frig (I like to eat it when it is hard and brittle rather than the mushy effect when the candy is at room temp. Also, I get more candy in the mouth and less on the fingers. The price is decent and you get 37, enough to last a few weeks of daily indulgence. These bars replace a box of SNICKERS I bought because I was tired of looking for a snack to watch a movie and finding little more than stale crackers. Being 80, I am not worried about maintaining my figure but just enjoying the enjoyable while I last.
