Ardo Breast Shell Inserts 22mm (Set of 2) for Ardo Calypso & Carum Breast Pumps

Not sure what all the bad reviews are for. This works just fine. When inserting into the 26mm flange to use you just have to give it a little "twist" to make sure it is in there nice and firm. I've never had a loss in suction and I've been using these for several weeks now. I only have two issues, 1) I wish that they made even smaller flanges as 22mm is still a little too big for me. 2) I really wish that all the flange sizes attached to the bottles, its just more stuff to wash and remember to pack, so any reduction in more baby "stuff" would be great. But, both complaints are really in regards to Ardo and not this specifc product as it does work as its supposed to. (side note: I love the Ardo pump, simple and works well!)

I ordered this with the hopes of increasing my milk flow as the inserts that came with the machine were way too big for me. First off, you cannot snap these onto the bottle, they are inserted into the larger cups. Honestly, I felt like I got the wrong brand because the seal between the two cups was not snug and actually reduced the suction! I tried taping the shells but since you have to wash between every pump use, it was not an ideal setup. I thought maybe I just needed to increase the force on the machine- I ended up at the maximum setting with absolutely no extra milk coming out or any added discomfort, I barely felt suction. It really was a shame, but the inserts didn't really help. I could say the same for the optiflow massage inserts that come with the machine, they don't fit accurately, so maybe the brand itself is just iffy. Save yourself the money- I borrowed a Medela pump and got much better results.

Fits my ardo calypso pumping flange, but keeps popping out of 26mm. Increased my daily supply though so I am happy

Don’t work. Have to be positioned JUST RIGHT to get any suction.

My wifes original shield inserts were soft silicone. These replacement ones are a hard plastic. Not comfortable for my wife.
