Interesting, but cardboard is sharp.
Bought the cat scratcher/bed for two new kittens. While the idea of this is interesting, something cats cat scratch and find some rest in there is one thing I’d like to point out to future buyers. When you unfold the accordion style cardboard many of the edges and points where the cardboard intersects is very pointy and sharp. If they rounded the corners of the scratcher/bed it wouldn’t be as sharp. I’ll have to wrap a towel or blanket around it. Which kind of defeats the purpose. I could have just used a box with a towel inside. Last thing to note. You secure the two sides of the accordion with a rubber band. Which if it gets loose could be dangerous for cats to ingest. I’m going to look into gluing the sides together. The cardboard does seem sturdy and durable. (Just too sharp!)

I cant get my cats out of it!
My cats love this thing and its less than half the price of the more expensive one that originally made me come looking for something like this. Im sure the more expensive one will hold up better in the long run but at this price I can get 3 of these compared to one of the others and we all know that our cats are eventually going to hock up a hair ball inside this thing and its going to need to be thrown out as it would be impossible to clean so the cheaper the better I say!

Made out of thin poster board kind of paper and held together with a rubber band!
This would not last very long I am sure, nothing for cats to scratch on, more like a very small bed.I immediately returned the junk!

Collapses easily and very portable, cats fight over it
Bought this on a whim thinking it might be useful when taking pets on vacation. Cats abandoned their prior more solid cardboard beds and began to fuss over the right to lay in it. No idea why they are so much more enamored of it than regular cardboard beds. It is not as sturdy as a normal bed and I doubt it will last more than a year, however, folds up very compact and we plan on taking two on vacation this year. I'd recommend as long as you aren't looking for something to last more than a year. They're very affordable.

My cat loves this “cat nest”
My cat loves this little nest. We bought two: one for indoors, one for outdoors. We also gifted one to neighbor cat who kept occupying my cat’s nest. She sleeps in it for hours and hours. When she’s awake, she sits in it upright and watches birds. Here is a picture of her in her Halloween costume, occupying the nest. She likes to rub her face on the accordian-like sides. I think this helps her stay cool in in warmer weather. Best investment!

Cat is in LOVE with this scratcher!
Our cat is in LOVE with this scratcher (we call it his colosseum). We ordered this for the first time one year ago and he uses it so much that we got him a replacement because he had scratched and bent the first one a lot. This product is quite sturdy and can change shapes (but we always leave it in the circular shape so he can lay in it). I can't explain how much our cat loves this - he loves rubbing his head on it and demands that people follow him to his colosseum and pet him while he is sitting/laying in it.We have never found a toy/scratcher that our cat loves more than this. HIGHLY recommend.

Cat loves it more than her bed sometimes
Bought this to use as her bed and a scratcher while we traveled. She loves it. Still sleeps in it sometimes and loves rubbing on it. The cat nip probably helped too. Love the different shapes it can make. And that it can fold up little.

Cats LOVE these beds
My cats and my daughter’s cats (bought her two) love these. They have become their favorite go to beds for naps and nighttime sleep. Pretty ingenious how the work, too.
