Didn't Work for Yellowjackets
Used this is in Maryland in the beginning of August 2022. Placed right next to active yellow jackets. They were flying around it ans landing on top of it, even approaching the entrance area, but then just flying off. They didn't care to go all the way down into the trap. After a few days a layer of fuzzy moldy substance formed on top of the liquid. I tried researching to see if this was supposed to happen, as it did not seem like it should. I left the trap up anyway but assumed the liquid lure had been rancid in that pack. I bought a three pack, so I tried putting another up. This one did not form a moldy layer after after a few days, but also did not catch any yellow jackets. Again, they flew around it , landed on top of it, and pretty much just laughed at it. I ended up putting up a different trap, the plastic kind where you add your own bait. I used orange juice and strawberries, and put it in the same area as these, which I did continue to leave up. Well, it is nearly the end of August, I have one yellow jacket between the 2 Raid Traps. The other traps have been catching some though.

These work the best!
Do not bother with any other variety! These are not pretty - but they are effective!

Meh.. just iffy.
We had a problem with some wasps around the front of our house so I got these traps to lure them away from the front and garage doors and get rid of them. I don't know if it was the traps or if it is because I got rid of a couple nests, but they did finally go away though I never did see them in or around the trap. That being what it is, these are pretty easy to use.. BUT.. they do not give you anything whatsoever to hang them with so make sure you have string or twine or something because you will need something to tie on to these traps. Also, the way they hang up is a bit janky. You have to cut a square our of the plastic in the top, pull the little plastic cap out through the hole you just cut.. dump in this little pouch of lure/bait that smells like rotten vinegar (do NOT get it on your fingers).. and then top it off with water all while trying not to spill it or break the flimsy little cap off the top. Again.. the wasps are no longer an issue.. but Im not convinced it was these traps that did it.. and I'm not sure I would buy them again.

Doesn’t attract anything… except a cat
Why did I buy a set of six of these? I should have listened to the bad reviews. I’ve used yellow jacket traps in the past that worked great, so I figured these would work just as well. Nope. I have tons of what are probably paper wasps using my small backyard pond for drinking. I’ve tried to find their nest… most of them fly over the fence towards the vacant building next door, so I can’t spray them. I was hoping these traps would reduce their numbers, but there isn’t a single wasp that has been caught. The water keeps evaporating, and the attractant doesn’t stay mixed. The only thing that showed any interest was the neighbor’s cat, who wandered over and sniffed in its direction. Complete failure and a total waste of money.

Wasp traps work...I think...
I purchased (1) locally and hung it up. I thought it did a great job so when that one was used up, I ordered this 3 pack from Amazon. Same packaging, brand, etc. These ones don't appear to be trapping much though. I have placed (2) now both in a different spot than the first, so perhaps I picked bad locations. I have one remaining from this order yet to put up. I'm not ready to write them off as not working quite yet, but I have certainly gotten more questionable about them.

Not as good as Rescue version
1st to know that this comes from a Looong time Rescue trap user, first introduced by Home Depot (when in stock), thereafter Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NBCMD22/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .....when plagued by wasps, esp. ground nesting yellow jackets (temperament similar to African Bees). The CONS impressed me to reduce Stars Rating initially but this could change after some time "doing their job"1. Rescue doesn't force you to detach, open, then slice open the bait to squeeze into trap2. Rescue bait smells like something similar to what YJs eat seasonally vs. Raid's version of something akin to Steak sauce/worcestershire ?!?!?!? WTH?3. Rescue traps hold much more water = less refilling on hot/windy evaporation daysThe PROS1. Raid costs ~$1 less/trap2. There's no regard for East or West of some river when making a purchase3. Arrives Prime just as fast as RescueTrapping results TBD, stay tuned to Central Texas in March+

Doesn’t work
I put this right under a wasp nest so I didn’t have to use spray and disturb the hive. I didn’t catch one wasp.
