These rope lights are made of a heavy duty PVC and seem to be quite durable. The end fittings secure well and water tight. The controller is sealed in plastic. I only had to shield the power plug.At full power they are VERY bright. I ran these along the top of my fence and at full power they REALLY illuminate the yard. Fortunately they are dimable. I installed a slide dimmer to tone them down. But I like the fact that I can vary the brightness. They are power efficient @ 60w for the 150 ft run. I replaced incandescent rope lights that were 60w for a 10 meter (32 ft run).I didn't care for the fasteners that came with this rope lighting. I instead opted to use 3/8" plastic cable clamps which made installation much easier. When I purchased these they were $68.79 each which was a very good value.I coupled two 150 ft sections to run the perimeter of the fence of my entire back yard. You can string up to three for a total run length of 450 ft. I installed them at the end of Sep. Only open ended question is how long they will last. But so far so good and I am very happy with them.

Bought the 150 ft Bright White to use under our stored RV to ward off pack rats. Super bright! I think the RV’s on either side will not have rat visitors either! My husband likes them so much he wants to give as gifts! 🤣🤣🤣 Amazed at how much light they generate off 60 watts!!!

So, when the reviews said these lights are bright, I thought ‘yea, right.’ Ha! They are so bright that the first night they were on my neighbors came out and took pics of the blue glow that can be seen from space. These lights are not for the faint of heart.

NOT 3000k! They are 2700 at Best with a yellowish look. (Outdoor Gardening/Berms), If you presently have 3000k spotlights and plan on adding these rope lights in the same immediate area, IT WILL BE NOTICABLE. I'm personally adding these rope lights to (two) separate berms behind paving where the actual rope is not visible and no 3000k lighting present in the immediate area so, the difference in color/temperature is minimal towards my overall setup. Installation was a breeze, just hope I can get a nice 4-5yrs without any sections burning out. I will keep my eye on them for in next 30 days while the returns window is still open. I will follow up if any premature durability issues...

Easy to cut to desired length. Hang. Best of all waterproof.

Finally got these installed only last 2 days fuse blew replaced fuse lasted 5 minutes. In original install lights were not cut. After 2 blown fuses we cut the light as per instructions stilll having same issues. Feel cheated paid a lot of money for 2 nights of lights.

I bought these to run along my driveway to see better wile backing up at night.They are super bright and have been on every night for 4 hours about 6 months now.The only down side is that the plug is not water proof.
