It depends on the capacity of your filter. Clients typically use cartridges "large" for fish tank 40 gallon

how do you replace carbon after using algae tablets?

There is a filtration system in my tank placed at the upper part of the tank at the back. I open the topmost flap and you can see where these Bio-Bags are supposed to go. Take the old one out taking note of how they were inserted and do the same thing.

What goes in front the Biofoam foam Or the disposable filter cartridge ?

The biofoam then the filter that's the way i did it.

will this fit whisper 60 filter

I checked the box and YES it will.
