After returning to the office, I realized just how loud and obnoxious my mouse was. Especially in a now open concept environment. Every little click was loud and made me feel like everyone was looking at me. I found this Shhh mouse quickly on Amazon, and after reading reviews had to buy it. It was delivered yesterday, and I had to try it out right away. So many positives! For starters, the packaging was super easy to open and get everything out. There were instructions, but I did not feel that they were totally necessary. If you’ve used one mouse, you’ve used them all. The USB plug had a nice angle and feel to it - and what I thought was cool was that the mouse actually has a storage spot in the back for when not in use. Set up was super quick and easy. Literally plugged in the USB, it downloaded the necessary operating file, and off I went! As far as size of the mouse, I felt that the mouse was just right. I am a woman with a medium sized hand and felt that it was perfect. The most important feature of all? It was QUIET! No sound while clicking at all. Honestly, the only thing I think that would make this mouse better would be if they made a Bluetooth version! I don’t mind the USB, but I am limited to ports on my laptop and having a Bluetooth connected mouse that was super quiet would have been even more amazing!

This Shhh mouse works as expected, and clicks, scrolling of the wheel, and even clicking of the wheel - all this is quiet.The issues are:a) on the left button was attached a sticker with words "Click me to wake me"; the sticker was hard to remove and left a glue residue, which immediately destroyed nice look of the mouse. There is absolutely no need for such sticker to be attached; if someone's imagination failed and suggested that the sticker was a good idea, at least it should have been an easily removable sticker that leaves to trace on the otherwise nice surface (what's the deal with attaching stickers to every surface? I hereby declare stickers an evil)b) no on/off switchc) two AAA batteries are hard to remove, they nest too deep and the openings for them are too narrow. Tiny plastic strips that go under the batteries and in theory should make them easier to remove by pulling on the strips, are to short and it is very hard to get to them with your fingers to be able to pull.

So quiet I had to get used to the mouse not clicking! I love it!

Works well, and is quiet in a classroom setting...no complaints so far.

***Revised again: I'd be interested to know if anyone else who has had this quit on them has tried adjusting the battery and had the same issue as me? I had great customer service with the past experience. Now that was 2½ years ago and the second one quit. I used it for about a year with the battery cover off frequently adjusting where the battery rested on the metal contact as it would quit if it wasn't just right. If I put the cover on, it would push the battery all the way in and it wouldn't work at all. Anyway, it kept getting worse, then quit all together. I figured that was a pretty good life and just ordered a replacement. The problem is, instead of being able to keep the cover on and have it just work all the time as you would expect with something new, this one seems to be doing the same thing. If I get it just right it might work for a week or 2 until I bump it hard enough to jostle the battery or put the cover on to pack it for travel. Half the time I just get frustrated and use the computer mouse pad. Now I can't get it to stay on at all. Very disappointed.**Revised: The company sent me a new mouse in September ('19) without asking me to return the old one. That was so awesome! And the mouse was great!! Works great, responds well and the silence is amazing!However - I have had a couple of times where I've needed to check the batteries, they're still strong, wiggle them around a little bit and good to go. If I didn't have a battery tester, I may have thrown them thinking they were dead. This just happened again this morning. Batteries are still strong, and the light comes on briefly when I move them around, but then it goes back off and I cannot get it to work. (Scraped battery and connections, double-checked USB port) So very sad as I love this mouse! One star for the troubles with this working. One added for great customer service and another for how great this product is when it is working.Just a bit of design advise: The batteries are hard to get at. You don't pay much attention to that if you put them in and it works until they die (which seems to be a long time as mine are still quite strong) but when you have to mess with them every few weeks, it is a more noticable issue.***REVISED AGAIN: Now all the sudden it is working. Moved my rating up to 4! But I still love this mouse!**Original: I haven't had a chance to return this yet. Life is busy. I hate returns. But no matter what I did, I could not get this mouse to work. I really like this mouse with the exception of the wheel. The wheel is super quiet when scrolling, but it is made of that rubberry material that after you use it for it while it gets sticky and gross. Just got the mouse today and the wheel is a little sticky right out of the box. not a deal breaker at this price, but the material of the wheel could be better.

I bought this because my wife hates hearing me clicking my mouse (little hypocritical given her mouse but I digress). The click is pretty quiet, but man the tracking is just HORRIBLE! Smooth mousepad, cloth mousepad, my pant leg, the chair arm, hardwood floor, piece of paper, doesn't matter what you use, the pointer will jiggle like mad at times like it's possessed! And the mouse wheel is just super stiff, so it's not fun to use. What's worse is the bottom is grippy like the rest of the mouse. The dongle is also contoured to fit into the bottom of the mouse when not in use, but that makes it REALLY pointy when it's plugged into the laptop. Just... pass on this. I've given it more than a month. I regret it.

It is quiet, very comfortable in my hand, smooth and responsive operation. I am very happy with this purchase.

I prefer wireless mice and this is what I needed. I have small hands and this fits just right.

The mouse is good: silent, comfortable, however some might find it a bit small for a bigger hand.It’s also very light on cursor; a small lag between pressing the button and cursor movement.

Easy to set up and use. So silent! Very clean and minimal!
