Whilst my dog Flex may look like butter wouldn't melt, he is incredibly protective over his Humans and his home. He wouldn't bite but his bark has been enough to scare our neighbours. His barking started getting more and more often. He'd bark at the takeaway arriving, he'd bark at a dog barking on TV, he'd bark at a car door outside and he'd even bark when the wind caught the letterbox! The worst was when he'd bark at 3am because a neighbour got home from work and Flex could hear it (Humans were asleep). We tried everything to stop the barking. We tried positive reinforcement, punishing bad behaviour (only verbally of course), teaching the "speak" command, being around dogs that are a good influence. Nothing was working. I wanted to get a collar that vibrates and makes a noise, because I wasn't sure a box would work, but none of the collars would fit Flex. So I caved and reluctantly bought this box, admitting to myself that it was my final hope and if this didn't work then I'd have to accept the barking for life. I had no real faith this would work, especially not for £20! I could not have been more wrong!! This is the most amazing product I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I turned it on and put it out and Flex was curious but just ignored the flashing light. Then the takeaway arrived and he barked once and immediately stopped. Not his normal going on barking until we return with the food bag and the door has been closed. He looked at the box and looked at us and lay down with his chew carrying on as he was before. Later on, a car door closed outside and Flex barked once, looked at the box looked at us, and carried on with his chew toy. I know you won't believe this but Flex hasn't barked since! He alerts us when something isn't right in his opinion but he does this with the littlest woof and sitting in front of us looking at the door, instead of barking his head off. I have recommended this to many people after only a few days of use. The battery lasts for ages as well! 10/10 for this little flashy box

I charged it up, I placed it at the correct height, and for a few hours I had confused dogs and a bit less barking. One of my dogs ran into the house every time it went off, but then all of them got used to it. I have changed the frequency settings numerous times now, and even as I write I've got a dog out front, really near to the box, barking at passers by! I thought I'd give it a go, but it seems that there's no magic box that will give my neighbours an easier ride. Twenty quid wasted.

Our border collie is quite quiet normally, however when putting her away for the night (she sleeps in the conservatory) any outside noise like a noisy plane or people talking or a dog barking, or if she can see a cat passing by, sets her off barking.I was a bit skeptical that this gadget would work, but so far it seems to.First night a couple of minor barks and she shut up. Same the second and third night which is where we are now. I don't leave it on during the day as I think she might get used to it, it needs to surprise her which I think is where other reviewers have had less success. During the day I can quieten her.I will revisit this review should things change.

Worked for 1 day and then my dog took no notice of it. Dont know if the product is worth the money. Tried it on different settings but my dog still continues to bark even when the device is on

Very disappointing it did nothing at all to stop our dog barking and the flashing blue light is so annoying I switched off completely overnight
