Aoxun 13" Kamado Grill, Roaster and Smoker. BBQ Grill,Multifunctional Ceramic Barbecue Grill, Egg Outdoor Kitchen Style

Purchased this little kamado grill to grill and smoke in smaller batches for two. It's well built with quality components for a fraction of the price of the "name brand" similar grills. Smoked a brisket last night and it came out excellent without nearly the fuel load of our larger smoker. The grill retains heat extremely well and the temperature control was very easy to manage. The only drawback I have found is that it does not come with a heat diffuser to prevent direct heat from hitting the meat. This was solved with a simple pie tin for now and I will add a more permanent ceramic or stainless diffuser in the future. Overall, very happy with the purchase and it works perfect for our purposes.

I am a 75 year old widow and love to cook easy things o a grill. Didnt want a gas grill anymore, but wanted the taste of a charcoal grill. But something a little different. I saw the picture of the kamado type grill, but in a junior size and bought it. Very easy to work with, easy cleanup and easy to light with the little helpers I got. Love it. Got it sitting on top of a wrought iron table on the patio.

The media could not be loaded. I waited a year to weigh in on this to make sure it would continue to work but I'm well past my $180 investment from a stand point of the quality of food it has delivered. I can confidently say, this purchase was worth the money and the results were better than I hoped for. I can do half a brisket or a pile of ribs. I've also smoked oysters on it along with steak, chicken and fish. If you want something to keep down the flames, I used a small terra cotta flower pot dish, wrapped it in some foil and it has worked like a charm.I'm really happy with this little thing and it replaced the big green egg spectacularly. It is one of my "Favorite Buys" from Amazon.

Love this grill. Perfect for one and gives a great flavor . Temp gauge made it easy to figure out temp. Took a while to heat up for me but it was super tasty.

It was a great product, but I gave it 4 stars because I ordered red, but got black. An option shouldn’t have been given if you aren’t going to get what was requested... just saying.

This grill is beautiful but it is shortly made and put together I receive the grill opened it up put on the handle and put on the feet as instructed. I then started my grill waited for the Kohls to heat up put my food on and the very first time I opened the grill to turn my food the whole top came off and it was at 510° thank goodness I had my long barbecue mitts on and was able to stabilize the top of this grill there is no way I have the tools to even try to attempt to put the lid back on properly. Stay away from this grill unless you feel like getting burnt!

Does not generate a good draft and often charcoal will not achieve enough airflow to get good burn leading to lots of acrid smoke generation and smoky/sooty taste. with low smoke charcoal (such as binchotan) this is improved however airflow still limits good heat generation. With charcoal fan temps ~800 can be achieved but this should not be necessary. It is holds heat very well and coals were still burning well after 7-8 hours so that can be a plus for low/slow applications.

Arrived well packed. Very easy to assemble. A bit heavy to move around, but manageable. Holds heat well, just about 45 minutes to preheat to temperature. Wood chips or pellets work well in a foil made packet. Plenty of smoke with your choice of wood. Great value for an all Ceramic egg.
