Xtra Blue Pool Shock
Used in my pool for first time this year. Performed great; we have been having a problem year because of the high temps and unusually heavy rainfall. Shock has kept the pool clear and sparkling.

Not what was expected
this product had a very miss leading picture. I purchased 6 thinking I was getting boxes not individual bags.Lowes has a box of 5 for $25.00. What a rip off this was, then when I tried to return it couldn't be because it was hazardous material.What a joke.

Didn't work for me at all
Didn't make a dent in my small pool. I purchased this hoping it would clean up some algae and it put in even a little more than is needed for a pool my size and I might as well have dumped sugar in the pool. I had to go and buy a bottle of liquid shock and it did the job perfectly.

Worth the price, but not very effective
Didn't work as well as I'd hoped. Used as directed in an above ground 10 foot 30" deep Intex pool, the water didn't quite get clear. Balanced chemically well and a good price for what it was worth. Found the Clorox shock worked better though it was a few dollars more.

Product works very well, every now and then you need to boost your waters immune system and this works great. As a reminder, just because it is on Amazon, does not mean you get a great price. I got this waaaaay cheaper at my local supplier even with tax included, waaaay cheaper. Shop and compare.
