It's a good bit of kit. Neat and modern looking, I like that it is curved and angled downwards to project it's light. I'm using it as an outside security light on my front driveway and it works well. A good bright light (15w LED, or in old money about 85w) it is a clean white light.Installation is straightforward for any reasonably competent DIYer, with a mounting plate to attach to the wall with the supplied screws and wall plugs, and the wiring to connect via the pre-installed ubiquitous chocolate block connector.It took me a couple of adjustments to get the sensor just right - because the light is on the front of my house towards the street, I set it too low initially, and because of the street lamps it never actually got dark enough to trigger. However one minor adjustment later and it now works from dusk, through the night.The movement sensor is actually better than claimed on the instructions. It says up to about 9 metres, but this was picking up pedestrians on the footpath about 12 metres away, maybe because it's mounted at about 3 metres high. The application of a small bit of butyl tape across the top edge of the sensor 'eye' soon fixed this and it now works once you're 1 - 1.5 metres onto the drive.IP54 rated, so should be fine in the rain, it's a smart, modern and efficient security light.

great light. we bought it to replace the exact same one after having had for about 5 years with no issues, until it life came to an end. you just connect it to the mains and the sensor works by itself. no need to set anything up or click any buttons

Bought for our front door area, it is easy to fit and looks great , the only issue for us is that it is a little over sensitive and very bright. Also it does not have a day/night sensor so comes on even in bright daylight. Overall I would recommend it.

Bought as a replacement for a gu10 based light. Easy to fit, turn off the electric, remove the old light and fittings, drill new holes, screw the plastic back box onto the wall. Connect the wires from the old light using the clamp type fittings (no screwdriver required, the connections are like Wago fittings), screw the light to the backbox, turn on the electric, done.There are two settings on the light to alter the length of time the light is on after being triggered by movement, the second is the lux setting which is when the light will start to operate when it goes dark. These settings are under a cover just above the PIR sensor and are accessed by turning the cover.When the light is triggered, it is bright and I mean very bright. Even though the light points downwards in an arc, this light illuminates my drive and half the street. Luckily the light only triggers when someone is on my drive coming to my door. The light is cool white (not yellowish) which is good for an outside light. I was impressed by the light and bought the non-PIR version to use elsewhere on my house.

Hopefully, this review will help a few as I see the same questions popping up.The manual? Forget it. It is not hard but I will talk you through it.OK, this is a mains powered light, not battery. So you will require ideally a permanent live wire from an inside switch/isolation so you can turn the power off if needed.Fitting is really easy. Simply pick your loaction wisely (as this is VERY bright) and drill two holes and plug.TURN OFF YOUR MAINS! Fit the backing box to the wall.Then make a small hole through the interior built in silicone grommet for the mains cable to be pushed through (ideally from the back) and then connect to the live and neutral connectors which are clearly labelled. Fit the main part over the small box that you just mounted, buy hooking the top on first, lower the bottom into place and tighten the included grub screw.Turn on the mains. This is best initially tested at night.On the front is a half dome cover that partly covers the sensor. You can turn this to reveal two screws. The left one is for how long the light stays on once triggered. The right one is for how much light is needed before it becomes 'live'To clarify that last part, if you leva thet right screw turned anti clockwise the whole way, the light will come on when triggered even in daylight. The extreme clockwise and it will only come on in the dark - which I would think is what most people want.The left screw I found too sensitive. To the counterclockwise is about 10 seconds, but a SLIGHT bit to the clockwise direction and it seem to stay on a lot longer. Trial and error on that part.You will need to rotate that dome cover, adjust, then rotate the dome back to have a clear view of the sensor to test. this is trial and error and will take a few goes to find your ideal settings.So, how does it look? It looks fabulous. Modern, chic, neat and tidy and would suit most houses. Fit the power cable from the back for the best/unseen fitting.So, how well does it work? (as in detection). Probably a bit too well. It comes on if a car passes my short driveway sometimes.So, how bright is it? VERY bright indeed. I wanted it simply to light up the front of my porch. But it lights up most the driveway and I cannot stress this is VERY VERY bright. Maybe too brioght for some people.But as a deterent, safety light, I do not think you will do better for the money.I hope this helps you make your buying choice and fit it easily.

Having automatic illumination over our rear door, the drive and front gate is very desirable for our convenience and our security. These light units are easy to install, although double insulated, I would prefer to see an Earth terminal, as I insist on using 3-core cable. Beware, due to the way the case attaches to the base you need some additional space above the light to accommodate it. Appreciating that there is no problem. The adjustments are simple and appear consistent. The only issue I had was reducing the angle of detection to one side of the gate. The sensors do not rotate. This was effected with the careful application a triangle of duck tape over one side of the sensor. Light output is sufficient without being too dazzling. One over the rear door and one over the gate provides enough illumination to safely exit, approach, find keys, lock up and unlock, as well as sitting outside. The units appear well made and robust but are unlikely to be tested with any abuse.A simple, cost effective solution.

Aplique con muy buena luz, fácil de instalar y con sensor de movimiento muy bueno, regulando la intensidad de lunes hasta que no se hace de noche no se enciende. Muy satisfecho con la compra
