After the successful marketing of clothes hangers, the family father had the opportunity to produce lunchboxes and drinking bottles for children. The now wide range follows a premise: well-made, beautifully designed, food-safe and stackable - just everything with a system. And since his wife used to live in Italy, the company name came from "Sistema" - system in Italian!

They leak and do not keep things fresh
The media could not be loaded. I bought these thinking that the blue silicone seal meant that they sealed and kept things fresh and also wouldn’t leak if transporting food. Annoyingly, they do not seal, they DO leak and I cannot understand how they haven’t sorted out these issues. They are not cheap yet do not do the job they should do. We also tried to store some dry food in one, and it went stale quickly. I’m not at all impressed and am very annoyed I have 15 of them and they are rubbish.

Smaller than advertised
Arrived day after, seem sturdy but advertised as 1 litre capacity yet looked smaller than expected. Added water from measuring jug and container brims over at approx 900 ml. Made in NZ , are they still in imperial measures out there ??Bought to freeze soup, hold less than 0.9 l to brim and liquids expand on freezing!

not even water tight when sealed!!!
they seem like any other cliplocks when they arrived. I purchased them to store IPA in for cleaning 3d prints so I had a few small containers for the various cleaning stages. Filled the first 2, clipped the lids on and then as i stacked them, the IPA sloshed up the sides of the container and leaked out all over the table. Tried it with each of the 3 tubs and the same problem on each. All sealed correctly, just the seal is rubbish! if its not water tight, its not going to be airtight either, so whats the point of them?

Leaky!
I've been using Sistema lunchboxes for a long time, but these are very disappointing. All the versions with 4 clips were very good, keeping the contents (even soups) inside, even when travelling / commuting. These one leak at the corners and shorter edges (and not only soups, even a pretty dense curry too). They're still fine for dry / solid food or just for storing stuff in the fridge and for that I can recommend them, but they're useless as lunch boxes - avoid if you're looking for one.

Poor seal
We use these as freezer containers and when the contents are frozen transfer them to freezer bags. Never would we think of using them for picnics, liquids etc. They leak something awful and fail to see why they come with a seal in the lid. They are not cheap but our first lot lasted for 10 to 15 years. I guess you just need to work out what you want to use them for.Hope that helps.

Great product
It's great for my pack lunch stuff / if I need extra containers to store food.I have chicken and rice in this sometimes and holds fine.I have noodles / Stir fry stored in this sometimes does that fine.I do not store saucey foods in this as from reviews it appears to leak?I noticed the clip does not lock on as it used to due to the lid shape being changed via heat? (maybe I left it in the microwave for too long?). And this was after 2 uses of that container.Otherwise they're excellent for me,as they meet my requirements so far.

Good cheap food storage containers
I like Sistema as they have a variety of different sized boxes, a rubber band around the lid as a seal and the boxes can easily stack together. I also think the side locks won't be as prone to breaking as some other boxes. I'll use this 1L size for leftovers and small baking ingredients.

Love sistema
I’ve bought sistema products for a few years now and they are deffo my favourite for storage and drinks bottles too. These boxes are ideal for leftovers and salads. I bought the 1 litre and 2 litre boxes. They can be used for other things too, I’m using one of the 2 litres to keep jigsaw pieces in coz the box fell apart.
