It's kept excellent time over the last week. Some reviewers have commented on how loud their clock is. Mine is quieter than my fridge, so for a kitchen it's fine. It's not silent though, and I think the volume varies depending on the position of the minute hand. For a style/usability guide, I recommend getting a light surround for a light wall. My last clock had a black surround whereas my wall is white, and the yellow version of this clock is much preferable. I didn't notice how much of a distraction the black surround was until I got this clock. The only downside for me is that it can't hang on a picture hook. You'll need a nail or screw with part of the shaft sticking out of the wall.

I was promoted to write a review for a similar clock purchased via another retailer (which was a budget version of this one and had a few flaws). I realised then I had not commented on this one, which is a very nice clock. It's smaller than I expected but it seems well made. The colour banding is a bright red and true to the image. The band fits smoothly against the rim (my issue with the cheaper version from elsewhere was a buckling of the rim). The numbers are clear and it keeps good time. It loses maybe 30 seconds every couple of months. The tick is loud. I never realised my previous clock was silent. I like the vintage look and chose it for that plastic look, so it's not a posh clock. Overall I recommend it as a kitchen clock and am pleased with it so far.

Absolutely perfect. I think the build quality of this clock is good for the price. The surround is matt black and solid with smooth curves. Clear display. Off white background. There is a tick which I don't mind as it's in the kitchen. Love it.

A nice time piece

Despite the acrylic finish the clock is classically fashionable. It’s a dark/mid grey colour, not that you d notice when it is up on the wall. It looks good, unaffected by steam in the kitchen, which is the plus. You will notice a slight ticking sound on quiet moments, that sounds like a tap dripping. Other than that, during normal service it goes un noticed. I’d buy again, if it failed, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

This looks great in our home. It’s the perfect MCM clock that adds a bit of pizzaz to any space.

Rien de particulier à dire, on met des piles et elle donne l'heure... :) Légère donc facile à accrocher sur tous types de support. Un petit aspect 70's sympa mais discret et sobre.
