I am beyond impressed with this product. My husband agreed to do a Fry and Leela from Futurama couples costume for Halloween. Very easy closet costumes - the big giveaway for Fry especially is the hair color. My husband has dark brown hair and 0 desire to bleach and dye it and have cartoon orange hair for a couple weeks so I decided to give this a try.I think this might be the most impressed I've been with any hair product ever. Granted his hair is pretty short, but it didn't take very much to completely cover his dark drown hair and make it ORANGE. It was very very easy to apply. We just slapped a glob on his head and combed it through. It dried pretty quick - a bit stiff when dry but that helped hold the front of his hair up in a spike. And once it dried it didn't transfer into his hands throughout the night which I was super worried about. There was the tiniest line of it on the collar of his jacket, but that was probably before it was fully dry. It came off the jacket easy but it was a polyester (rain jacket) type material so most things would come off easy. And finally, it took just one regular wash at the end of the night to get it all out. Obviously I didn't intentionally smear any on a shirt but with how easy it came out of his hair, I think there's a good chance it would come out of fabric. Don't quote me on that one though!If you are looking for a very short term, vibrant hair color that washes out easy and has some light hold, this is the product for you! I'm definitely saving this to come back to for any colors I might need in the future and hope they work as well - I'm certain the darker colors will be great, even on dark hair and with how well the orange worked I have hope for the lighter colors too.

The product did what it was supposed to for Halloween, but after washing out the red my hair was extremely pink - now fast forward two weeks and the pink is going nowhere. I am currently sitting at the salon where my stylist has tried his best to get it out with a bleach wash (to which the pink laughed at) then he wove highlights through it and even that received nothing but a side eye and middle finger from the pink pigment still in my hair. I have resolved that I will have pink hair until it grows out, or until I cover it with dark dye.- full disclosure, I have highlighted hair. This stuff may be fine on dark hair

Over all, this product is pretty messy. Even when it's fully dried, it transfers very easily. I found that working it through with damp hair that's mostly dry is best. As I'm working it through I do like to wet my hands a little bit to get it all even. Then blow drying it with a fine comb gives a more natural hair look (not super clumpy). I'd say it has a medium/strong hold. My hair was still malable after blow drying with a comb, but mostly held in place.My hair is short/buzzed on the sides and back, with about 6 inches on top. I'd say it took roughly a tablespoon or more to get the color even on my longer part.My hair is bleached to about 8-9 ( nearly white with hints of yellow)I bought both the white and black colors.WHITE: has a metallic shine to it, but was very close to the color I was looking for. I used it on my longer bleached hair to even out the different levels while I wait for my next bleaching to get my hair permanently white. My hair is toned, but some parts have had more bleaching done as I used to just do the tips white.With that said, it did even it out a little bit, but not anywhere near how the pictures looked. But it works enough to help cover up the Unevenness, but some tones show through in different light.________________________BLACK: I bought this to do the sides of my hair for added contrast, and keeping similar texture all around my hair. This has a very metallic shimmer, and over all the color is completely off. I wanted black but got a dark blue/gray. Even when applied to my dark brown sides it was still a pretty firm blue/gray just at a dark shade, but this shade is no where close to being called black by any standard.Over all I'm going to keep the white, and I'll save the other for Halloween make-up.But I should have just gone with white hair spray and a black toning shampoo.Honestly, I imagine the other colors look great, but trust me it's probably not worth the mess. Colored spray is more accurate, easier to apply more evenly, bout just as messy but doesn't transfer as much as this product.Otherwise pigmented shampoo's would be best if you want something a little more semi permanent or minimum to no transfer after a thorough wash.

I found that while the product does pop and look good, you have to put a good bit into your hair to make it stand out. The more you put the more hold and gel like consistency it gets. Take that as you will, if you are looking for a more natural look, you might want to try a different product. If you don't mind the gel or hold absolutely worth it. I mainly use them for raves. The clean up is easy as it comes out of your hair in the shower, this is the double edged sword because water will make it run. It won't run or completely be ruined, it does take a good bit of water and scrubbing but you may have color dripping from you if you get wet.

I was skeptical at first, but this worked so much better than I could have imagined! I have curly hair, so I was worried about it weighing down my curls. But, my hair has never looked better! No idea what the science behind that is, but it actually Enhanced my curls. Super easy to apply, washed off of my hands and out of my hair so easily. Didn't take much to dye my whole head either, and stayed in the whole night without staining my skin or clothes. Amazing!! I'm so impressed!

This is a great hair styling wax and smells great but in no way is it wax hair dye or wax hair coloring. There is a difference. This product claimed to be wax hair dye, and only one over saturated strand looks remotely purple. I feel frustrated and disappointed. The product claimed to be natural with no chemicals but the label seemed to say otherwise. In the future I think the manufacturer/seller or whoever needs to be more careful in describing their product.
